Anyone watching? Appalling from Everton and their fans, too. That bloke - with young child in arms - putting his hand on the Lyon keeper. What a t*at. No idea how Williams didn't see red.
Must be one to look at after the game.

Must be one to look at after the game. I was surprised Williams didn't get red, according to the commentary the goalie had been attacked by Bastia fans in a league game!

Was quite an experience being in the Gwladys when that went off! Passionate lot are those Everton fans!!
Lyon players wound the crowd up all game with stuff I doubt you saw on the tv. Lopez was being a muppet to the ballboys boy by insisting all the original ball being returned ;they were using the multi all system)
On a side note, for those who've not visited, you must go to Goodison before the bulldozers move in.. Unbelievable old school ground with a cracking atmosphere..

major memory of Goodison is the old bill with long whippy canes being unselective in their targets

Wasn't just how it came over on TV either, the commentators mentioned needing "something to wake the fans up" a few times.

Goodson is a great old school ground and worth a visit but I wouldn't say the atmosphere is anything to write home about and i've been there to watch a fair few games against a number of opposition. The best atmosphere i've experienced is Palace fans who's ultra's are something else. Turf Moor is also an interesting place to go to if it's a Lancashire Yorkshire derby match.

Blue Scouse are totally different to red Scouse! Knowing a lot of both blue and red scousers I have to say they are pretty much the same. Both hate Mancs more than each other.
