Didn't make it yesterday. Did either of them acknowledge fans yesterday? What sort of reception did they get?

Sercs played up to the fan, cupped his ears etc, and then didn't have an impact on the game.
Lego was all over the place getting stuck in as ever. Very pleased with the Oxford crowd and I read wound up some gas fans but I didn't see that myself.

Second half slocombe applauded the away fans behind the goal before kick-off and got a decent round of applause in return.

No real reception either way at first.
Sercombe in the first half went down easily for a free-kick, got a few jeers, the cupped his hands to his ears to the Oxford fans. Booed at very touch and serenaded with ‘Sercombe, Sercombe what’s the score?’ at the end as a result.
Slocombe clapped the fans at the start of the second half when keeping in front of the away end and got a decent enough reception back.

Sercombe and Ledson embraced in the centre circle when the final whistle was blown.
The love in didn't cease there as they were later spotted hand-in-hand on Gloucester Road going into Dev's Keralan.

Slocombe applauded the seated Oxford fans behind the goal at the start of the second half, which was the intelligent thing to do - it meant he got no grief at all.
I've rèad different versions of who started what with Sercombe. From my perspective he reacted after some of our fans started giving him stick. Never understood why you would want to wind up a former player who already wants to score against you to prove a point, especially when he was such a good player for us.

To make him try too hard and completely balls it up obviously... haha well done yellows fans mission complete!

Tbh , Sercombe played up on this and should have left it! As good for us his game was worse for this I thought.
