Rick Hardino 😂😂😂😂 Why a 6 for “Paine” though? I thought he ran his socks off and really made a fool of a couple of their defenders on a few occasions.

So you think Ribs had a better game than Paine, and was as good as Thomas. Really!! Ribs had a nightmare yesterday, he consistently gave the ball away. Early on he over hit his first pass and chested a ball out, I thought he'd grow in to the game but he didn't improve. I was surprised he wasn't subbed.

stupid ratings rothwell 6 richardinhio 6 and jack payne 6? I can only comment on what I saw during the game ...and not on peoples opinion afterwards... Payne did indeed run his socks off but sadly so often the end product is little.
6 isn't a bad rating on the basis..
1. Abject 2. Very Poor 3. Poor 4. Competent 5. Average 6. Above average 7. Good 8. Very Good 9. Excellent 10. Best Player on the Pitch.
OK so perhaps a 6/7 for Rothwell and a 7- for Ribs. but that's all ( and just my assessment of course )
Feel free to disagree.

He definitely screwed up a few times, but he still but a shift in and worked hard. Definitely didn’t have a better game than Thomas - and incidentally, it was good to see him play, what? 85 minutes? instead of the usual 70-75.

He wasn't as good as recent weeks admittedly but hardly a mare.. No coincidence we have improved since the back four have sorted themselves out...anyway its a team game...if one player has a off game the others usually step up to the plate. Ribs was solid enough stifled his opposite number in the main... Thomas is a goal scorer if he had scored I would have given him 9. Payne huffed and puffed but didn't blow down any trees yesterday. 6 is better than average.
We all view the game and the way football is played differently

Fair enough...I don't agree with Ribs 5 or Henrys 8 both should be a point and a bit higher.
Interestingly I give the team an average 7.09 and you 6.72 .... I thought that was a good a performance away by a team you will see this season and well deserving of a 7 rating. ( all of them )

Eastwood 7 Ribeiro 5 Nelson 8 Mousinho 7 Ricardinho 6 Ledson 7 Ruffels 7 Henry 8 Payne 6 Rothwell 6 Thomas 7 These are probably the closest to what I would pick so i'll just offer my changes which would be Payne, Ricardinho and Ledson all up 1, probably put Ribeiro to a 6 as well

Eastwood 6 - not a good save to make Ribeiro 5 - defensively pretty sound, hideous on the ball Nelson 8 - absolute rock Mousinho 8 - apart from early over the top balls everything defended well Ricardinho 7 - same old Henry 7.5 - best overall player on the pitch, worked hard, defended well, attacked with tempo Ledson 7 - battled hard, one Ledson tackle near us. Ruffels 7 - same old Rothwell 6.5 - put a good shift in, didn’t all work out for him, technically gets the assist for Mowett? Payne 7.5 - class, caused problems all day. The moment he came off we looked dead/out of ideas. Then Henry comes along to start a counter attack Thomas 7 - worked hard nearly scored twice, looks dangerous.
These quite hard to rate. Best thing about yesterday was that’s the first real win this season I’ve been to where it’s been a battle & a grind. All the shit teams this season fall apart after 1 goal. If we can keep this up I’m filled with optimism.

Yep fair enough we all view it differently! Thomas was picked in the team of the day in the Sun. He was quite isolated yesterday and isn't 100% fit, so thought he did well to last as long as he did.

The whole team can play poor but if they win they've "ground out" a result. Play poor and lose - they're useless.. Close games like these create emotional swings!

I think we need to strengthen in the right back position personally...in January if possible. I have watched Ribiero for a bit and I think injuries have taken their toll on him physically. For me he doesn't get close enough to his man to stop crosses, lacks the energy to be a serious outlet the same as baldock and Kenny were, and I'm not sure about his distribution either.
I'm hopeful about Canice...he seems a bit of a player and might play in 15/20 games, but I just feel if we had an impact like we do at left back in Ricardhinho then we would be much better for it. Tiendalli could be immense yet but will we ever find out?

How about 'most complete'? In the sense he was everywhere, defending, attacking, good touch, won ball back for the goal but still that Nelson was deserving a higher rating.
