Hoping to meet up with half a dozen ex-Oxford friends, now living in Lancaster, at the Fleetwood game. It's a bit disorganised right now, wondered if anyone knew if they allow away ticket sales on the day and if they allocate seats or it's a free-for-all? Think we'll have to do seats rather than terrace because of little ones. Can be a bit more relaxed about it if so. Ta

Does it have seats as well? Most likely will be tickets available on the day but wait for an announcement about tickets next week.

I went there 3-4 years ago (Kitson scored and actually appeared to care). They had several hundred seats for away supporters around the halfway line. Fleetwood support almost non-existent, so would be amazed if you cannot walk up and pay. They play the Captain Pugwash theme when they score and a man dressed as a cod dances alongside a cartoon fish playing on the scoreboard. It's all a bit Roston Vasey. It's a suburb of Blackpool, so you can take the tram which is about 10-15 minutes along the seafront. And it's a b long drive. I won't be rushing back. Good luck!

They do provide some seats, in the main stand next to the away fans; I can't imagine there will be enough in the seats to worry about being able to sit next to your friends. There is a superb supporters bar at the opposite end of the ground, which warmly welcomes away fans, serves nice food and good beer - cheapish, too.
My only criticism of the whole place is its over-friendliness. Something that is never to be encouraged in football.

Thanks for the replies. You'll be astounded to know that my wife has actually booked us in for two nights in a seafront hotel at Fleetwood. I hope she's not expecting it to be like the Riviera.
Bit surprised details aren't on the OUFC website yet, but then Peterborough is still featured so .....
