I would argue that the new TV deal has made the Premiership the most competitive top league in Europe.
So Leicester won the league, Southampton are one of a number to reject bids for their players from one of what now seems to be called the 'big six'.
'Little' Burnley can win at Spurs, Chelsea and Everton.
But guess what? The big boys don't like that. They want more money for the overseas rights. Based on the fact that they are bigger in Dubai, the US, Australia etc. So they drive revenues more than Swansea, Burnley etc.
The big boys are suggesting that if this is voted against (which is likely) , then they will potentially look to do something else. The threat is in time there could be a breakaway.
FFS. So the 'Big 6' are wanting to get a bigger share which will mean that things get LESS competitive. Is there any surprise that the Big six are despised by some (and I know a lot of people who can't be bothered with the PL any more)

They are looking to go the Spanish model then? Greedy buggers They are also looking to America where it is a closed shop, and loyal fans are an irrelevance.

Look at what the NFL did the San Diego Chargers. Playing at the StubHub in front of a bunch of away fans because San Diego wouldn't fund a stadium. Disgraceful

A move to Las Vegas has been approved, but no date set as they obviously want to use it as a financial bargaining tool.

It is embarrassing to watch an NFL team play in a baseball diamond, but LV is just another transient city like LA. People will get bored of it eventually once the excitement has worn off. The current stadium in Oakland is so bad even the cheap As are looking to move.

No vote held today. Trough of greed would have voted on sharing 32% of the £££££`s relative to League placings. "The Big Six" don`t like the idea.
4 or so years to a "European Super League" played all over the planet then...............
Greedy feckers.

I'd let them go and chase the money in a European league. Then the rest of us can get on with it. Football was great before the Premier League and would survive without it.

Liverpool should just be grateful that the cash is not distributed based on quality of team or performance.
