Following recent results no one would blame anyone for not making the effort this weekend; but we support Oxford United. Quite close, the win last season, day out etc. What decides if you go to a game or not. Really in two minds about this one.
We would normally take around the 1400 mark if we were doing well, but clearly somethings amiss. Poor manager? players not playing for him? takeover talks? Who knows, but no doubt the diehards will be there regardless.

What decides if you go to a game or not. We've got Stuart and Linda coming for the weekend.

Blind optimism always helps. Remember Bolton and Millwall away last season? Games we weren't really expected to win and the delight is so much greater.
If somehow we find a way to win on Saturday, and pull a performance out of the bag, it will be an amazing feeling.
That's why I'll be there.
That, and the fact that I had already got my tickets before the Bury game...

I have passion for my team, win lose or draw I will follow them.
It's not down to results, yes I get p*ssed off. But results would NEVER affect my support for the U's!!

I'll be going. I remember a few years back we were on a shocking run and had an evening away match at Chesterfield who were top at the time. That was a good night, let's hope we get the winning feeling again on Saturday. And it's pretty close to where I live.

Fans moan when players don't try and play with effort or passion then surely as fans we should lead by example and prove to them how lucky they are to play for a club like ours with such passionate support?
We have some of the best fans in the lower league when things are going well but we need to keep the standards of support high in the tough times. Following the club in the tough times makes it so much more fun when the good times come along.

Your Missus must be very worried about you - perhaps she needs some marriage guidance too .
