In what way? ?? I see he picks the team and does the training and tactics. mmmmmmm. Or maybe he has just sucked the club dry financially? MOST RIDICULOUS COMMENT OF THE NIGHT! Are people still digging their heads in the sand regarding Eales? For him, this summer was about recouping as much of his outlay as possible before selling to the highest bidder. Unfortunately that bid seems to have come from some Thai businesspeople that even Reading fans hated. Pep was probably given that same speil by Eales that he's given us, too. Bigger budget? Yeah right. Like I said, do we really think the likes of Mehmeti were Pep's first choice? We made around £3.5m in transfer fees this summer and spent, what, £3-400k absolute max? Sure, maybe our wage budget went up a bit (I still can't see it), but all in Eales has done very, very well financially this summer. And he's done an excellent job of pulling the wool over everyones' eyes in the process. And the ticket prices were ramped up to the point where I junked my season ticket for the first time in 11 years!

Because without that, I can still believe him in saying he's planning on putting the money back in. I clearly am missing something big or maybe just painfully naive, please enlighten.

No reason for Maguire to get anything other than a good reception from us. And I'm sure if he does he will have a bit of respect. And if he takes the p*ss, so what? We all know he's a gobshite, that's a big part of why fans loved him in the first place. Like I said, don't give good or bad and see what he does. Then we'll truly know whether he wanted to re-sign for us or was just looking for the best deal financially. I'd give Skarz a good reception though. Sounds like Maguire did want to stay as he showed respect to the fans/club, but for some reason e.g. probably money he didn't sign.

How hard are we going to get pumped by Peterborough. 5? 6? 7? The same Peterborough losing 3-1 to Oldham? Oldham recruited well in the window. We played them at the start of the season, and it's clear that was a good time to play them. Either way, to be predicting such poor future scores is out of order, have some backbone (BW).

We've won 3 - Oldham and Gillingham in crisis and sacked their managers and both still in drop zone. The third - Portsmouth - are 2 pts above us. Says it all.

Because without that, I can still believe him in saying he's planning on putting the money back in. Well he's missed his chance to buy the players we needed. In January there are few players available and if he thought the prices were high in the summer, god alone knows what he would have to pay for a decent striker then! So he has reduced his losses by selling players and not spending on transfer fees. They might be high wage earners but if he sells the club that won't be his problem! I bet we have new owners before the end of October.

We are shocking at the moment. Defence is a mess and is clearly not working. Our midfield is pretty lightweight and non existent. Our forward line with the exception of Hall is obviously not up to scratch. We have 3 centre forwards, 2 who are injury prone and one who isn't match fit. What concerns me is we don't seem to have the players in squad to change things around enough. Pep seems to have a plan A and nothing more. We go out and play the same game and when it don't work we simply drop points. I really want to see Pep succeed here but I do think unless things turn quickly we are in the shit this season.

It like the twilight zone 🙈 No one mention the hotdogs 😉 were they good? Must have been the amount of abuse some of us got for daring to suggest this was what Darryl was doing. And that’s not me changing my tune. I’ll support the team and pep and give them time to hopefullly turn things around. But this is from a higher level, I think despite what Charlie and Darryl says we are far from a top 6 budget.

If you're getting offended because I'm predicting a heavy loss on a football forum, maybe I'm not the one who needs backbone!! Trust me, if me posting "We'll win the next one easy" had any impact on the result, I'd predict a 13-0 win to us.

Whoever scores first will have a good chance to Take the points.......What the f*ck are you talking about Pep? Really, really weird. He's talking about taking positives from the game. Again. His theory, after every defeat, seems to be that if you concede the first goal you can't expect to get a result. So no point in being self-critical- it was all the fault of the first goal.

He always says "Football is a game of Margins" Well these Margins you clearly love to speak about are something we cannot get past.
