Got sent of for a haymaker on Brett Pitman, sent Pitman sprawling or it was a clever piece of diving by Pitman

It did look bad, but there wasn't a proper connection. Dunkley would have knocked his head off if he had.

Quite surprised that Wigan fans are mostly impressed with him, would have thought his ball play/composure wouldn't be good enough for a team that will be targeting auto promotion.

Why be surprised? When he was here it felt like 80% of our fans minimum thought he was brilliant because he did a cruyff turn once, and because he won a lot of headers even though they usually went straight to the other team. Nobody seemed concerned with the fact he never tracked a runner or looked over his shoulder, and consistently fell apart mentally if he made a mistake. Because ain't nobody etc.
Williamson is showing what a proper centre half looks like - Dunkley was always a third choice player being shoe horned in week after week. Wigan have got a Championship squad playing around him every week, so he won't be as exposed.
I hope they enjoy him. I'll never overlook the fact that in the last Wembley game he needlessly sliced a ball out for a corner and when Eastwood asked what he was playing at he just shrugged. The cameras picked all that up, Chey my lad. Couldn't even be bothered.

I'll agree he wasn't the most skilful and Williamson is an upgrade, but considering his younger age and solidity (I'd rather he headed back to them than not winning it at all), I wouldn't have minded him staying. I think your Wembley comment is out of context, reacting like he did was probably better than arguing. Always gave 100% IMO.
