Any programme notes from DE?
After P'boro they said on Radio Oxford that he hadn't written any because he'd been ill. Even though he was well enough to have attended at least one of the games he was apparently too ill to write anything for 48 hours prior. Not that Chairman's notes or Manager's notes are often written by those people personally anyway, which I can tell you as someone who once wrote Chris Wilder's notes AND James Constable's notes most weeks.

Worked really hard and took his goal superbly well. That's all I've ever wanted from him - to actually give a damn, pull his finger out and work hard. Not just trot about and pretend he's injured when things turn against us or he gets a whack, which it seems Pep himself hinted at a few weeks ago. If he plays like he did today on even a semi-regular basis he will be a real asset. I genuinely hope that he does because I would much rather feel able to get behind a player than become infuriated by them and their lack of commitment.

He had a good physical battle against the two CBs, his goal from persistence and putting himself about. Also liked how he pressed from the front, sparking the rest of the team to do likewise. He he has played a more pressing role with Pep, which he clearly can do. Maybe he’s now fully fit and feels he can take the hits etc!?

Anyone see who was in the directors box today? I saw a few ties in there today. Ties at football matches should be banned, only thing tied should be a scarf around the wrist! So no oriental gents in the directors box today?

Apologies for stating the obvious, but it seems like 'Tiger' must be involved in a serious takeover bid. He has been at home an away games, he is sharing the company of DE and Dave Jones etc. So it appears we're on the verge of a takeover.
So is there anyone else interested? We all know that at any one time there are always consortiums looking at buying English clubs, and despite our ground ownership issue I still think we must be a 'relatively' attractive proposition. Not the best option out of those clubs that may be on the market, but a decent option. I base that on the fact that we have been in the top flight, we are a world renowned city, we are in a relatively affluent area and are a 1 county team.
Has Juan Sartori taken DE's rebut and just moved on? If you express an interest in buying a football club then do you stop after a first refusal? Is there no-one else out there interested, it must be well known in football circles that DE is looking for additional investment or is looking to sell.

just like to add to my post, this doesn’t affect the takeover deal that ‘Tiger’ is completing. Carabao and Tiger = two separate parties/ people

I personally don’t think it’s a take over bid. Gut feeling or knowledge? Just a hunch shall we say. I don’t think Eales has ever wanted to give up complete control of the club but rather looked for extra investment as a joint project.

I thought it was common knowledge he always wants to try and keep his name on the stadium for his legacy!

Selling off the stadium naming rights before a stadium sale would be smart business.

Absolute rubbish.
I know for a fact that some of those people who are genuinely "in the know" have been encouraged to drop in a few red herrings for social media accounts such as 'oxbible' to gobble up.
I presume to keep real goings on quiet in the background. Or maybe to try and work out who is behind these accounts.

I presume to keep real goings on quiet in the background. Or maybe to try and work out who is behind these accounts. Without knowing anything at all about what is going on, this does sound like absolute rubbish. Why on earth would Carabao simply want to sponsor the Stadium with all of the money going to Kassam? I assume that they are aware that this would make them extremely unpopular? Even the comment that he will continue to speak to Oxvox about buying the Stadium seems far fetched. From the last Oxvox minutes it appears to me that FK is backing off on this as well and isn't engaging positively with Oxvox.
