I'm excited to see Baldock, Wright and especially Lunny play tonight.
#SUFC XI to face #LCFC: Eastwood, Baldock, O'Connell, Lundstram, Wright, Freeman, Lavery, Lafferty, Evans, Brooks, Carruthers.
BTW I feckin' hope that's not the mighty Simon Eastwood they've signed on the sly!!!

Looking at him, I'd definitely say it is his brother... heard speculation in the SSU during the Brum friendly that Simon would go to Sheffield where his brother lives - total bollox, but interesting to know his younger brother is there.

If you were smoking a really weird sellotape substance and then took an albeit brief look at tonight's Sheffield Utd line up our Chippy must really still be missing his desk at Oxford as he's tonight going to have a 'right good go' and be 'bang at it' and if we lose 'we move on' but the truth is he doesn't- he just signs any players with an OUFC theme to it! I like Chippy. Eastwood-Baldock-Lundstram-Wright-Jordan Evans-Jamie Brooks-Chris Carruthers with subs tonight Jack Stevens-Steve Basham-Wesley Thomas-Rob Duffy. Merry Christmas.

Gray made Lunny look a right mug when he scored that goal...

Baldock has looked decent, but the gap between the two sides has been evident.

Baldock and Wright off, subbed, I thought they were pretty average.

Gray is wasted at Leicester, needs to go and play somewhere with his ability. Heard a rumour of Spurs... Thought Lunny and Baldock were very poor.. Wright held his own before going off.. Wilder looked throughly p*ssed off. How delightful! Will he play at spurs? I think he needs to go somewhere that he will get a couple of seasons of games in. Although Pochetinno is good with youngsters.

Their fans are less than impressed with Lunny and don't understand why they have signed him.

Their fans are less than impressed with Lunny and don't understand why they have signed him. Not played much, he will be fine when he settles in, plus none of their players are going to be good enough against even a weakened Leicester team given the big gap in quality.

Not played much, he will be fine when he settles in, plus none of their players are going to be good enough against even a weakened Leicester team given the big gap in quality. Genuinely don't think he's up to it. He struggled to take games by the scruff of the neck in L1 and actually impact them regularly. L2 he was good, L1 he was largely average at best. He's pretty immobile, doesn't tackle, doesn't score goals, hits balls across the park far too often... I don't think we're missing him and doubt he will make it there. Ruffels scored more goals in the last four or five games of last season than Lundstram scored in two full seasons, and has got two more already this term. He is impacting games, not just playing pretty passes that make people clap several times a match. Ledson can spray the ball about but also put his foot in, so for me is more impactful. I actually think we will actively thrive without him as I think the team was being built around him and he's just not good enough to warrant that. I wouldn't be surprised if next season he's back at L1 level be it permanently or on loan. I'm aware how harsh and damning my post sounds - I'm merely being honest. Have no problem with the guy and am not trying to be controversial, just don't think we will miss him or that he will cut it.

Wilder looked throughly p*ssed off. How delightful! I thought that Baldock looked pretty good going forwards in the first half, but in the second all of the Sheffield side couldn't cope with Leicester's pace and play. Lunny was poor but he will hopefully improve as he did in the seasons he was at Oxford. Leicester looked very good and agree that Gray would do better at Spurs.
