Interesting,i never knew they considered Kidlington, they are developing the land South of Langford lane as we speak. The OB could have had a sin bin in Campsfield house for the Hoolies ! P.S. Don't forget Fat Bobs plans to move to Didcot.

It was shot down pretty quickly.

#2 is Oxpens by the ice rink (well, instead of the ice rink I think).

Next to the airport would have been interesting. Fly into games?

I've always thought the ice rink site would of been perfect. Plenty of drinking holes, right in the city centre. Yes parking would o been an issue but easy enough to get park and ride into the city plus close to the station. It would probably be easier for more fans to get there than it is at the current site.
Land cost would be through the roof tho.

No city needs an ice rink.
Burn it down and build us a castle.
Check out:
SOR Arena Aker Stadion MCH Arena (Home of FC Midtjylland, my personal favourite, 11,800 seats, took a year to build, cost £10,000,000 in 2003)
Lovely little stadiums. Anyone got any other favourites between 8,000 - 15,000?

I was very impressed with Rotherhams new ground last season. Is it not also designed in a way which makes it easy to increase the capacity if so desired?

Bang in a central residential district and probably the only stadium in the world to have an executive box converted into a sauna.

My money's on the fella with the pipe... Calm down you two. There is plenty of land up for development between the ice rink and the station car park. It's just a bit too expensive, sadly.

I might be wrong, but wasn't the original plan for the stadium (with the initial work started with metal work left to rust for several years) a traditional 4 sided ground?
