Early days, but already looking a struggle for the promoted teams(and Burton). A big step up when you are coming up against teams like Hull who have just turned down £10 million for a player.

As you say early days.
I reckon Sheffield United will be fine- will probably have a good home record.
Millwall and Bolton? Yes they could struggle alongside Villa!!

Think Bolton with Phil Parkinson will be ok. Millwall may find it very hard. Wouldn't be surprised to see Norwich down there too. I'd like to see Burton stay up but it will be very tough for them. Can see them losing a lot of games by the odd goal. Would love to see Reading go down but I think they'll manage mid table anc might fire Staam

How many years of parachute payments do you get? Villa should easily be able to get promoted with that money and their crowds/other income, quite an achievement if they manage not to.
Millwall, Burton and one from Bolton or Sheffield United for me, the financial gap is making it so much harder to get established in the championship now.

If they don't get promoted within those three years, then they're probably going to be in trouble. I imagine their wage bill is pretty hefty

I think I read somewhere that Aston Villa are paying John Terry, £80,000 p/wk or £4M a year. That is for one player compared to our TOTAL playing budget of circa £3M for all 25 players. ...... and Villa are only 2 places above us in the League structure at the moment.
