I was hoping to get the new season off to a start with Chester at Solihull only to find out on Friday night that it had been postponed because they failed to get a safety certificate in time. There are reports on their forum that the ground is fine, it's admin that cocked up, although there's nothing official from the club or the league yet. A lot of p*ssed off Chester fans, many who had pre-booked train tickets that may not get refunded. It's going to cost them, whatever the league plan to do with them plus a big proportion of the, estimated, 400, fans that would have turned up that won't be able to make it for a rescheduled midweek game. Anyway, a good win for Oxford and a defeat for Wrexham took the edge off a bit. Ticket allowing, I hope the trip to the Blackbird next week goes a bit smoother.

The game should be a sellout or closer to. I don't buy a ticket until the night before the game so as not to take a seat off any regulars.
