Strange that it was the first song played after the trophy was presented. Whatever next? A chorus of 'yellows yellows'

More reason why yellow submarine should be our anthem. It's unique to us and has history with us

Maybe they had the playlist from Checkatrade Final Day loaded by mistake and started playing that by mistake (OUFC winners version obviously).
I know I'm not alone in this but I really wish Wembley would not play all of this cheesy music at ridiculously high volume before and after every match. It is so corporate and fake and spoils the natural atmosphere that 90,000 people make.
Let the fans be heard.

No where decent to drink nearby, expensive, and yes, a very loud tannoy! Also there is an extra 'rent' charge if your club dares to go into extra time.

It's actually cheaper to drink in club Wembley than the headington bar 🙈

I only paid £60 😉. The point I was making is that the bar prices are cheaper in there than the headington bar. And a fairly decent area to have a drink pre match with all the bars and food outlets And a lounge season ticket is now £750 So getting close to club Wembley prices there as well

I like the fact that we play Sweet Caroline after victories...but then I do spend most of my time in North Carolina.

Strange that it was the first song played after the trophy was presented. Whatever next? A chorus of 'yellows yellows' Well outside the ground they were singing about tying a yellow ribbon round the cup. They were a very confused set of fans

I think it's run its course. I associate it with the MApp era and sang it loudly after the games. I can't quite bring myself to do it this year, just doesn't seem right.

I do have to say I enjoy belting it out after a victory. It's a win-win really as I make myself hoarse doing so and so have to retire to the pub to seek lubrication for the evening....
