Does it ? How many event will he lose out on 2 ? We'll have to wait and see. At the very least it's saying we have other alternatives to using the Grenoble rd pitch, and hopefully the U's can stage quite a few events at CPF - starting with the club's AGM. I see this as maybe the start of greater future possibilities, who knows, a ground share at W.E.? No doubt the Council would be very interested in the City ground should this happen. Might, be pie in the sky, might not, as I said, we'll have to wait and see, pure speculation bordering on a pipe dream? Or, not?

Not sure it's an alternative to using the Kassam pitch at all. I don't think we train on it anymore anyway. And it's only the youth and ladies teams which don't use the Kassam at all. The only thing that effect Kassam is events held there which this last season has been 1. The end of season awards. All other event were already held off site at the academy. If anything it's two fingers up to the council as we will be sharing with city rather than using the new facility they are building. Although I can see the first team ending up there

Be nice but probably not up to the required standard. Saying that it's allowed for fa cup games, and u23's can play at other venues can't they? Like their training ground

Wouldn't that be excellent. Treat it like the reserve team competition it is.

Wouldn't that be excellent. Treat it like the reserve team competition it is. That would be a great idea. Technically we are fufilling the fixtures but showing it the contempt it deserves. No doubt the EFL would fine us for it though.

One for "The Stadium That Cannot Be Named", Shirley? ''Post anything relating to a match, past, present and future''! - In the future, we could be playing matches on the new CPF pitch, and indeed we are!!

Yeah, but it's more of a stadium related issue isn't it? Where the club will be based in the future as opposed to the Kassam Stadium, whether we will play any sorts of matches (friendlies, Checkatrade, etc.) there as opposed to the Kassam Stadium, how this will influence our relationship with our current landlord, whether this may open the doors for an exit from the Kassam Stadium, etc. etc. Just pointing it out, given that the season has now ended there isn't going to be quite as much to talking about in terms of matches, yet undoubtedly (being the first in the list) this board will continue to get far more threads than actually belong in it. Just a simple matter of housekeeping

I'm really pleased the women's team will be playing in Oxford. Even though I'm Abingdon based, it never sits well with me when teams don't play in their respective city or town. I'll definitely check out a few games next season. Season tickets are only about £25.
Baring in mind the bar profits will be split - something the club seemed quite keen to highlight - does anyone else think we may see some supporter parties (p*ss ups) hosted there? Certainly at Christmas and any televised games anyway.

To make a point, but also slightly quicker than typing out "The Stadium That Cannot Be Named" multiple times Grenoble road is quicker to type By one character. I feel there's some joke in there about Kassam being the solitary character in the way of Grenoble Road, but I'm too tired.
