Well now that weve taken the missus out for breakfast, shes had flowers and presents from the kids etc... I can now head off to Wembley later feeling a little less guilty about having arranged tickets for today back in December as my boys Christmas present not realising it fell on mothers day Just as well the Trophy final is next week or a lot of us could of been in trouble. Anyway, whatever team we put out today should win this one. Also a chance to check out bars before next weekends bigger Wembley trip.

Wembley stadium train station was heaving after the game today, next week I would go for a few after (the ibis hotel bar across the road was quiet enough to get a seat upstairs) unless you have kids.
Not a bad game if not the most exciting, Defoe showed why he should of been picked ahead of Rooney for the last couple of years, watching live you realise just how good Dele Alli is, potentially the best England player for years and Keane looks a good centre half.
