The queen mother was still alive
Shaggy was at number one that week they beat us with 'It wasn't me'

Will be even better when you can add "won the Champions League and we're relegated again" to this in three months time.

I'm not one to defend them, but for much of that time we couldn't play them as we were in a different division. Sorry to be a party pooper.

Being in different divisions for some of the period is irrelevant. Fact is both clubs have had seven opportunities to win a derby. We've succeeded seven times, they've failed every time, and a lot has happened during that period.

It swings both ways (as they say in swinetown) John Aldridge,Ray Houghton,Billy Hamilton,Bobby McDonald,Alan Judge,Jeremy Charles,Dave Langan. Some of the GREATEST players that ever wore the Yellow shirt,NEVER played against the scum. Maurice Evans never managed an Oxford team against the scum. After the smoke bomb game under Jim Smith, the next Oxford manager to go up against the scum in the league, was Mark Lawrenson (remember him ?) The best 6 years Oxford have ever had ability wise and we never got the chance to crush them. When we were beating Man united,Arsenal,Chelsea etc,we never got the chance to batter the scum. They were playing Torquay,in Division 4,in front of 1,600.
