George had a great reception today. He seemed to really appreciate it.
At the final whistle he went straight to the home bench and hugged all of the management and substitutes.
After Robinson's Phil Brown impersonation at the end of the game, he then came across to the Oxford supporters and threw a shirt (?) to somebody he seemed to know. Then he applauded the Oxford supporters before remembering that he should applaud the MK supporters.
With the style of play, I reckon that he is far more suited to playing for Oxford (!!). He got forward more in the second half but seemed far more inhibited than at Oxford. At Oxford he had free reign to bomb forwards. That was not evident today. George is an articulate bright person. I maybe wrong but just my observation....

He's a top professional, thought it was A1 how he conducted himself today, I just wonder if we may see him again in an Oxford shirt at some point in the future, same goes for Roofe, you never know in football, they both seem to really appreciate us, great times and ahead......

A class act on and off the pitch. Great player, and clearly a fan of us, but I'd love to know how he's a class act off the pitch. He had a cig behind his ear at the races the last time I saw him! Lol...

He went to small section of fans, gave his shirt to a little lad then walked off. Didn't clap the majority of Ox fans who were applauding him. Just walked off

Just walked off He explsined that on Radio Oxford afterwards, as an MK Dons player he felt he needed to acknowledge them as a whole first. Faur enough I think.

Just walked off He had to be very careful or the home fans could have been upset by any excessive affection shown to our fans. They pay his wages and he needs to ensure they continue to be positive towards him. His actions were enough to show his respect to our fans without going over the top. Same as when we applauded him during the injury break when he gave a quick thumbs up. I can imagine your reaction if one of our players did a lap of honour in front of an away support that reacted like we did yesterday. I'm sure you would not be happy in that circumstance. He is an intelligent player who got the balance just right.

He is an intelligent player who got the balance just right. Again, he gave his shirt and applauded that very small section of fans. He then walked off without a clap or any form of acknowledgment to any other section of the fans despite all clapping him. That wouldn't have offended any home fan if he'd have done that as it was the only way off the pitch!

He also gave our fans the thumbs up while waiting to take a throw in during the first half! He did indeed, I was sat by the corner flag as he was waiting to take a throw in and when the applause started he nodded, gave the thumbs up and actually said thanks a number of times. Many others in his position would have simply ignored the fans, a nice guy all round, wasted at MK but there you go.

Blimey what did some people expect?
When the first reading of the teams was done around 2;40 - he got a loud cheer from those Oxford in the ground and he made a point of raising his hands to clap whilst he was finishing the warm-up with MK.
During the injury break whilst waiting to take a thrown in - he acknowledged the applause he got.
And he deliberately came over at the end, despite being a long way behind every single other player in leaving the pitch. Gave something to an Oxford fan before applauding.
That's 3/4 more things than he had to do and 3/4 things more than a lot of players would do. He has spoken favourably about us all week and has clearly fed back to Robinson how well he was treated as Robinson has mentioned it numerous times pre/post match.
He played very well, barely got beaten my Johnson or Maguire and put a couple of decent crosses in. I would doubt he will be at MK beyond the end of the season.

I can only assume Baldock shagged juniour's missus but then I'd be amazed if he had one so I'm at a lost of what his problem is with Baldock.

The Man United result has got Junior in a mood seemingly.
He sees what he wants to see. What I saw was George Baldock showing respect to both sets of fans.

Baldock is a great player who clearly enjoyed his time playing for us. I thought he got it right yesterday in terms of responding to our support of him. Also came across very well on radio ox after the game. Would love to see him back in the yellow and blue, but sadly cannot see that happening anytime soon.
