Just to let everyone know that the target to buy 50 season tickets for children in care and their carers was smashed over the weekend!
Well over the initial target of £6,200 has been raised in less that 4 weeks! Amazing effort by members, the wider fan base, the club, local businesses and players.
We'll communicate the final total during the week once the shirt bids, pledges and online donations have been reconciled.
Thank you everyone, this has been a tremendously successful and worthwhile campaign and just goes to show what a remarkable club and fan base we are all part of.
Thank you!
Cheers
Jem

Thank you Jem, the OxVox committee , the fans and everyone else who has helped to make this happen.
Probably the best thing to happen to OUFC this summer - helping to make lives better of those less fortunate for no fault of their own.

Still bids coming in, still need to confirm and clarify the shirt bids too. In addition, this morning OxVox have entered a partnership with WA! Curry who are also donating some money into the fund during the day. That company do alot of great charity work too, sending meals to Africa for example #currywithacause
So thanks to Prad at Wa! Curry. Anyone who goes in there for a meal and makes it known they're a Oxford fan, the Trust will benefit a small amount financially that will go into the community projects or OxVox projects we'll do throughout the year.

Well done everybody involved especially Jem and Oxvox. Thanks foley, but it was actually Simon Bradbury (OxVox) and Liam from OCC who had the idea and drove it hard to make this happen! Cheers Jem

So great to see everyone come together for a great cause. What is the deadline for donations? Hi. We want to close the justgiving page on Friday ideally. So if you'd like to make a donation then it'd be appreciated. You can do so easily using either a card or paypal at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/OxVox-OneOfOurOwn

Well done all.
63 tickers purchased. 11 carers/adults, 30 U14-u18, 22 u14's. They'll be distributed by Oxfordshire County Council and into the care homes and to children on the edge of care as a means to keep them out of it. Foster children will also benefit.
We could have hit a bigger number but the need is for the u14-u18 sector and those were more expensive to buy.
The club and council will decide where to choose but the family north stand looks a good area. They won't be all together for sure as they don't deserve to be highlighted as the recipients. They just deserve to come to a game, like us all, and enjoy it.
Again thank you all for the generous support.
