OxVox this week organised for Helen & Douglas House resident, Jonathan, to go to Wembley this weekend with his father. Having been donated two JPT Final tickets by our Umbrella Organisation, Supporters Direct, the committee took the decision to identify a fan who would not have normally been afforded the opportunity to support their side at Wembley this weekend. The Oxford Mail story details the background www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/14398284.Wembley_dream_for_Oxford_United_fan_with_life_shortening_condition/ but we are delighted that Jonathan and his father can go to the game together to see their football club. We would like to send our thanks and appreciation, to Supporters Direct, the Driscoll family, the fantastic staff at Helen & Douglas House, Josh Ruffels for taking time out to deliver a shirt the Trust purchased for Jon and a range of people at Oxford United (including Daryl, Cheryl, Greig, Caroline and the Media Team) for their help in bringing a smile to this young man. Working together to make a difference. COYY's! The Committee of OxVox
