I thought I'd have a look at the players who turned out for Swansea today, to see just how 'weak' that side was. Of those who I could find much info about - here are some details:
Nordfeldt - 5 Swedish National caps - Transfer fee £595k Amat - 15 Spanish U21 caps - £2.03m Tabanou - 12 France U21 caps - £3.43m Cork - 13 England U21 caps - £2.80m Grimes - 12 England U20 caps - £1.57m Emnes - 2 Dutch U21 caps - £1.19m Shelvey - 6 England caps - £4.13m Montereo - 53 Ecuador caps - £3.50m Gomis - 12 France caps - Free (but value estimated at £7m)
I couldn't be bothered with some of the other players or subs, but of the starting line up, 4 players are internationals, 9 are either full internationals or have represented their country and they paid about £20m in transfer fees for that side...
... and we played them off the pitch at times! Happy days.

And what have we got? COD - Ireland U21? Buchel - Liechtenstein? And they both didn't start!

Read on the Swansea forum that they all thought Gomis was awful, I personally thought he was a big threat and their best player!

Thought their disrespectful team selection got what it deserved but we would have given them a game no matter who they picked

There back 5 was second string but players like montero, Shelvey, cork and gomis were the first names on the team sheet at the start of the year it's hardly as though they've put out a load of kids! I actually was surprised they played such a strong side especially with the game against Sunderland on Wednesday.

It wasn't a disrespectful selection at all. It's all relative. Their second string should still have been able to beat us, as ZtH's analysis shows.
Oxford deserve all the credit in the world. Only the most bitter Swans' fan could doubt that.

I think I heard that 7 of their players today started their palace game two games ago

i read their forums yesterday and have to say i was disappointed to see some state the ref was poor etc, they should have had a pen, it was a foul prior to our 3rd goal etc.
premiership squad against 4th division should still have been good enough, by all accounts shelvey offered to "discuss" things in the car park with 1 0r 2 having a pop at him when they went to their fans.
I think most of them are worried about the direction their club is going in and they appear to have many problems, to be fair quite a number said we were by far the better side and deserved the win.

I assume none of them mentioned that their 2nd goal was offside?

Got in some great positions, good on the ball and was a cleveŕ forward
