Only a rumour I've heard but apparently Craddock has appeared on the radar of the scum. Now that bobble has flown the inbred nest they are going to be on the look out for a new striker and Craddock is on the list. I don't know how credible it is and like I say it's just a rumour that someone passed my way the other day.

I would have presumed if anyone - Constable would be the one on the list.
Even though I personally think Craddock would do better in League 1 than Beano.

Knowing that they have just had a windfall and they are them......... 500k??
Obviously he is not worth that money but why sell for anything less??
And this won't happen. Swindon are a selling club on the demise. They will trawl the non-league for some goalscoring talent.

I don't see why Craddock would want to move there. He's not even a year into his contract by the start of next season, isn't there some sort of rule against that?

Swindon will not be after any of our strikers at all, i don't think. They have a massive amount of money now. And would rather sign a proven league scorer, none of our strikers are, bar Maclean. And on paper, without watching how good he is everyweek like we do, he looks like he's on a downward spirrel.
Le Fondre would be ahead of all our strikers in there wishlist. And they could easily now afford him. Similar player to Austin too

I imagine there are a few creditors looking to recoup some of the money they are owed. I was surprised by the rumour, hopefully it proves to be unfounded. If I was Le Fondre I would be looking for a bigger move than to Swindon as well

It does show you though that if we went up and our strikers bang them in, amazing to think we could be looking at a million for them. Amazing money for a player that is only proven at L1 level but i guess that is the price these days!

Can't see that happening.
Why would Craddock even want to leave when he only signed in september!! The scum will want someone who has a proven record in the league. Adam le fondre is a decent shout, but he is too good for them.

Amazing money for a player that is only proven at L1 level but i guess that is the price these days! Crazy but when you look at Crawley paying York nearly a quarter of a mill in the conference for Brodie it shows you the way football is going. Boom and inevitable bust. Worse thing is that Austin was offered to us first but we would not part with the £3,000 that Poole wanted up front

None of our players are going to go to scumdom for the simple reason that we will be in a higher league than them come next season. And if not a higher league, a higher position thats for sure!

So we could have had Tubbs and Austin for 53k?

So we could have had Tubbs and Austin for 53k? It was common knowledge that we had a bid accepted for tubbs but his terms were way out of reach. Again this is not gospel but from people I knew tubbs was reported to want 1800 a week. The Austin story is that bobble was keen to come after his move to Bournemouth was blocked by the FL but we did not want to pay a fee up front. Either way he is not worth 1.5 mill, a season and half in the FL does not warrant that sort of fee

I don't believe we had the chance to buy Austin for 3k but turned it down. I just don't believe it Remember the guy was playing in the Wessex League Premier Division. He had never played football at a serious level before the Scum signed him up. 3k doesn't sound unreasonable at all.
