After being in touch with Thames Valley Police Police Commissioner office asking him WHY TVP had refused the extra tickets as given to Portsmouth earlier the season....as announced on social media by Wycombe Wanders FC yesterday, TVPs Police Commissioners office looked into the situation to find out why TVP had discriminated against OUFC supporters
I had a telephone call from TVP's Police Commissioners office around 3pm
Result of him/ his office looking into this, is that TVP had not put ANY restriction on additional tickets being made available to OUFC for 19th Dec, the reality is the decision not to make any more tickets available is a matter for the two clubs to decide upon
Wycombe Wanders FC Im told will be retracting their previous statement regarding TVP blocking the sale of any additional tickets to OUFC for 19th Dec
....weather the extra(pompey) 290 WILL be made available is initially down to Wycombe Wanderers FC and then both clubs (Im told)

I take it everyone will be sitting down in their allocated seats then? Presumably leaving a bit of space (ie. unsold capacity) is to allow for people who deliberately ignore their allocated seats. These games get very crowded behind the goal and at the back, then people refuse to move to for instance an empty seat in the corner at the front or back.

So we asked for more and they lied? How unprofessional is that, they really are a Sunday league outfit who have somehow found their way into the Football League.

You could write to the FA and Football League with your discovery as football clubs are supposed to act with honesty and integrity at all times , in particular when dealing with fans. Now we all know they don't but you have evidence here. I wonder what the FA would make of the club telling porkies so that fans were left with a false impression.

I think we have the whole stand anyway so that makes no difference the extra seats would have been in the stand to our right, where we have had them before

Sat wherever last time, if I remember. Mrs Manorlounger and myself prefer to be to the side of the singers etc, like to have a sit down during the game at our age!
And well done Sarge! I hope somebody at TVP has a word with those idiots about lying to the public.

Taking the p*ss tin pot club fsf and Oxvox should take this up as matter of urgency and if they persist and we at the end of the season are promoted when they come here for the last game give them 100 and tell them it was on Bazzers advice

(doubtful) Personally I hope they, WWFC, go into administration with their debts, get points deducted and as a consequence drop out the league, back to where they belong, in that 'poxy league', with its broken fax machines

An amusing episode, I'm sure TVP will be over the moon that wycombe have put an edge to this match now, the only problem I have seen here before is some of our fans who can't seem to find a pound in their pocket.

Well, well, well, what an interesting development! Seems I was a little hasty in condemning TVOB yesterday.
But on to matters in hand. So we know there ARE 300 extra seats to be had. We know Wycombe WON'T need them for home fans. We know they DO desperately need all the money they can get. We know Oxford United WOULD easily sell these 300 extra seats. There need not be a security issue with these seats, as we've had them before, with no issues.
So, taking the above into account, the sensible decision is to let us have the extra 300 seats. Any other decision is a clear case of provocation and discrimination, and Wycombe Wanderers will be reported to the authorities.
I know this because, if no one else does it, I'll do it myself.
PS: Great work Sarge.
