news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/football/teams/b/blackpool/9379860.stmAs much as I like the fella he is being a bit of a dick here, he's only offering it so he doesn't lose face, he knows it won't be accepted. He said he would offer it but it was up to the chairman to accept it, in other words don't accept it I'm only doing it because I said I would. To through away a good job in the best league in the world because of a poxy little fine is a bit pathetic, doesn't matter whether its justified or not, its not gonna bankrupt the club. He should just come clean and admit he only said he would resign if fined to try and convince them to decide against a fine.

He is just living up to his word. This league is a petty mess!

I agree it was petty, but he knew it was coming because it happened to wolves, it was only £25,000 to a club that has earned £90m

I'd laugh if they acepted his resignation. I doubt it would happen but if it did he would have a heck of a lot of egg on his face all because he wanted to act the petty tw#t rather than simply put up with an insignificant fine and keep stum.

Holloway is fast becoming tedious. When he acted with more humility he put a smile on peoples faces but right now I'd love to see the back of him. He's now unfunny and boring. I've had enough of this idiot.

I've had enough of this idiot. Could not agree more. What was the point of offering his resigniation when the chairman had made it 100% clear he would never except it. His constant press conference rants are also become dull and he would be well served to get his head down and worry about improving his teams form and less about trying to be funny.
