I don't think we'll be shot of them again this season they're bluffing for a rent deduction again.
I hope i wrong i would like nothing more than that lot f*cking off away from us once and for all

Then hopefully kassam will call their bluff. They signed a 3 year deal on a reduced rent. Either stay or pay to get out of it, can't see they have any negotiating.

I was saving this for Kassam's full evacuation of the county, but as I don't see that happening quite any time soon, let's make the most of this opportunity: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHQLQ1Rc_Js

I think the pitch next season might be the single most important factor at home.

While rejoicing at this most welcome news about the departure of the Rugger buggers, there is some small voice in my head that is saying it would be just like Kassam to bring another bunch in. It wouldn't be the first time he has rained on our parade.

No excuses now. The budget is high. The pitch will be maintained. Over to you, Mr Appleton.

Following from Gottabebetter. Did Ka££am contribute towards the pitch? If yes, then bollocks! If no, we are flying!!

Never liked Rod Stewart, me. Perhaps they'll move to Scotland and have a 'Maul of Kintyre'?
I applaud their leaving although I have considered popping along to one of their 'games', don't think I've ever seen a real Welshman; not one that would admit it, anyway. See other thread on this subject for mustard trousers offer.

It wouldn't be the first time he has rained on our parade. After the disaster LW have endured and pitiful crowds etc, I can't see other clubs lining up to take their place!

Did Kassam give the ok to the pitch renovations? If yes and he knew LW were leaving, it suggests he may have plan b up his sleeve.

Would it be incredibly ungentlemanly if I said "F*ck off and don't come back!"?
It would?
Oh well, I'll say it anyway!

Excellent news. Maybe Kassam can now be persuaded to allow more OUFC branding in the stadium as we are the only tenants.

Maybe he was ok with them going, and ok with us replacing the pitch , as he knows we're about to take to take it off his hands

At least there will be no extra holes in the pitch that have to be filled in during the match.

At least there will be no extra holes in the pitch that have to be filled in during the match. Now that was an embarrassing moment! And that poor sod loping across the pitch with his bucket of sand

Good.
The sly, two faced, wankers have gone. They were bad news from the minute they arrived, with their devious attempts to buy the ground from beneath us.
I hope that they never return, in fact I hope they go under.

No excuses now. The budget is high. The pitch will be maintained. Over to you, Mr Appleton. Ashton suggested that he was aiming to get rid of as many excuses as he could.
So another excuse for home form has gone and there is no reason why we should not expect promotion next season ...
