I've just posted on another thread in the Stadium section and it relates to OxVox so forgive me for duplicating here.
For some time I've thought it would be a good idea for a fund to be setup whereby fans or non fans could contribute to a possible new stadium or towards revamping the Kassam should we ever regain ownership. For fans who commit to a long term monthly plan could be rewarded with some kind of recognition at the new/revamped stadium i.e. Name/Photo on a concourse wall?
This is a little bit pie in the sky but I really think we should be planning for the future rather than all the other funds that relate to the here and now. Even if the money raised over a long term period isn't ever needed for a stadium it could then prove a useful fund to preserve the clubs existence in case our circumstances change in the future.
I'm not sure how many of you would think this is worthwhile but surely warrants some debate at least, obviously it's long term for when the Kassam lease expires or beyond.

OxVox have done a feasibility study, as did Ian Lenagan, on the option of a new stadium at Water Eaton. OxVox worked on it for some significant time and made detailed proposals, case studies and recommendations to the club last April with the help of others. It met with all the stakeholders at the time.
It isn't pie in the sky. Thankfully Mr Eales has said one of his key agenda items for 2015 will be the stadium.

It's an absolute must. This has to be my main concern also! I love the fact we are starting to show ambition and we are prepared to pay fee's for players, but I would change all of that so we could own our own stadium, or stay where we are. Ideally somewhere new with character and put our own stamp on it.
I regards to the original poster I would be willing to do a long term plan where I contribute and would be willing to give £300 per month.

Yes £300 per month is nothing to me on my wages. so it would go to something worth while!

Yes £300 per month is nothing to me on my wages... Blimey. Why don't you just buy the whole thing with whatever's down the back of your sofa and gift it to the club?

Well if everyone at the club was to do the same, or give what they can afford then we would eventually be alright. It's not about the amount but the contribution.

I was just joking.
But you obviously have a far higher disposable income than many who come to the matches (good for you - I'm not having a go!). I suspect most would not and probably could not pledge anything like that amount. I personally don't think the maths works really. Let's say there are 5,000 people who are prepared to subscribe. If the stadium is £10m (to make the maths easy!), each person on average would have to stump up £2000. Your £300 per month would take 7 months to make your contribution, another person's £50 a month would take about three and a half years, someone who could only give £10 a month would take seventeen or eighteen years. I think we would have to hope that there were quite a few people prepared to pledge an awful lot to make this workable in a reasonable timescale. And that's presuming 5,000 people would sign up.
I have a decent job, but have other family commitments. Apart from the very reasonably priced season ticket, it costs me twenty five quid or so in petrol for every home game plus away tickets plus travel costs to the 10 or so away games I can make every season. Could I commit more of the family budget to the club? Maybe, but it wouldn't be very much.

But you also have to add in businesses contributing and say Stuart Donald made his offer available again, 7m he offered il I think no strings attached. We don't have to find the full amount, but if we as fans could find a decent chunk, and the club and maybe council add to it. Who knows

Exactly the fund would realistically only need to raise a proportion of the cost.
My initial thought was £10 per month as that is relatively affordable for most people, obviously people could pay more if they wished.
I've given up donating to flag, transfer funds etc as I want my money to really help the club in a long term way and not frittered away on a whim!
