Here is a interesting thought for all statisticians out there. I was thinking how are home attendances compare to Oxford's population and how it compares to other clubs?
For example,
Our average attendance is 7,167, population of Oxford is 153,900 which means 4.65% of Oxford attend football.
Does anyone know if there are figures for other clubs?

Shared cities/counties

Man Lon Bir Liv Yes Joe, logic would say the bigger cities would have more than one team.

Please don't even try to do this calculation. It's pointless and full of problems because the nature of the support base of every club is different. If you go to Sunderland you see no tops other than SAFC around the town. They loyally support their local team through thick and thin. In Oxford, for instance, we all know that many support London teams or Liverpool or Man Utd. There is nothing to be achieved in comparing the two.
What would be more interesting would be an analysis of where match-attending Oxford fans come from. I believe this was attempted once and, unsurprisingly, OX4 & 5 were heavily represented.

Ta for telling me where it is, will come in handy when I try and find the place tomorrow.
Is Blackbird leys not in Oxford? Littlemore? You appear to be using a map with the city boundarys from the 1930's.
Apparently the boundary of Oxford is the Grenoble road and the stadium lies on the Oxford side of it.

As long as I can remember your directions I should be able to make it there. Its right at Littlemore then left at Sandford and if you get to the tower blocks at Blackbird leys you have gone to far isnt it?
