That's a good read. I'm glad Appleton has a vision. I am very optimistic for our future.

I'm always slightly cynical when I hear managers talking about projects or plans.
Martin Ling soon came to grief with his at Cambridge United a few seasons ago.
But on the other hand John Still's project at Luton seems to be well on track.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I guess that it is good to a certain extent to have a strategy and plan that is more than a short term fix (some managers such as Atkins seemed to have ways that were great in the short term but did seem to get found out in time). Having said that, you are right that MAPP needs to walk the walk. I suspect that if he gets us into the top half of the table this season, he will be given the chance next season and then he will have to prove himself.

Generally I share Lode's slight cynicism about 'projects' but on the other hand I'd rather have a manager who has one.
Pleased to see that recruitment occupies a the front of Appleton's mind, I hope we'll hear something about developing (all) our players in the next episode.
Good, positive, COYY!

It all sounds good very positive, The only reservation I have is our current position in the league, If at Xmas we are in a similar position and MAPP has a major change in preparation for next season will they perform well enough to get to a safer position.
