Yes - apologies. Wrong post. 100% aimed at bicesteryellow. Getting dicked once is ok then. Is twice ok? Look at the League Table ffs. Look at Appleton's record here and at the other clubs he's been at. They're still isolated results and there's no point crying about it unless we have solutions. If we start getting dicked every week then of course I will be concerned but as yet that has not happened.

At 5 points a month I'd be troubled. That would be another 35 points to add to the 7 we've already got. And there's one game in May. I'll go mad and say we'll win that. 45 points then. Um. Would've been enough in 11/12, but not 10/11, 12/13 & 13/14. And why are you convinced that less points are needed for survival. If and when the manager shows that he has got the tactical nous to beat these physical L2 teams then I will consider believing. I just think this year there is a greater disparity between the best teams and worst teams in the division, leading to a lower number of points being required for survival. 42, I believe, will be enough. Have a positive outlook. Be realistic, too. There's so much shit in the division this year that by the end we won't be in the bottom 2, 3 or even 4. The oracle strikes

Chris Wilder's Northampton were in with a shout of the plays offs just three short weeks ago.
But the Cobblers lost an incredible 21 matches and finished with the same number of points as the U's .
A poor league? Yes I would say so and I am interested to see how Burton, Bury and Shrewsbury fare next season as they were easily the best three teams this season.
Will JFH still be at Burton when the new season kicks off?

Will JFH still be at Burton when the new season kicks off? I recall people saying the league was poor last year as the winning points total was so low (Chesterfield won it with 84 points which Wycombe and Southend sat in 4th and 5th obtained this year) yet all the promoted sides stayed up with a couple in and amongst the playoffs. It begs the question- is League 2 really that weak or is League 1 not as difficult as we imagine?
