Chill the f*ck out. We've had years of shite, it'll take a bit of time to get some of the fans back. Wilder's style was such a killer on the numbers. Our away following is incredible. was @ wba. amazing support. best oxford game for atmosphere since Wembley. home crowds are low due to cost, a 3 sided stadium and years of terrible home form. Simples. Scum away and home was much better than WBA. For myself anyway, maybe not you Wandsworthyellow

I do agree that the club has big potential...I hope that Ashton and eales help us realise that in the next few years, just like Brighton and reading have done. They have identified how to maximise their football club and are unrecognisable compared to what they looked like 20 years ago.
Us getting 6,000 at home games instead of 4,700 is going to help but is not going to be the catalyst that see's us push on. We have had 6,000 and 7,000 on a regular basis but its still within the restrictive envelope that is the kassam stadium.
I cling to the things that we can control today. Looking in to drinking holes, making the supporters bar welcoming, buying a ticket to the next home game, a programme, a 50/50 ticket, my vocal support. The catalyst to make us realise our potential will only come from ma and de.

Charlie, I don't disagree with your longer-term view of the need to understand the market and I for one would hope that the new owners will quickly realise the fact that they need to be working with people such yourself who have some knowledge of how to do this. I just don't think it would do any harm, in the short term, to reward those fans who do have kids and would like to try and engage them to come, by making it easier for them to do so for certain games.

TC was a class player for us. Shame the boo boys targeted him... Wasn't a fan off his but he did well in the position he played to score 25+ in 2 of his 3 seasons playing with us at wide left, most of us remember his last 3-4 months playing with us his attuide on & off the pitch was terrible along with Worley & Chapman

Match day experience is not very appealing for the 16-30 age group. I don't usually have trouble getting my friends to come to an away game. Unless it's a massive fixture at home they're not Interested. They don't mind forking out the money for an away game as the whole experience is different but when you factor in the cost for attending a home game it's hardly appealing to the neautral. From what I've been told the club were very impressed with what West Brom have done & a bit of an eye opener to them as they look to make big improvements to make the whole match day experience better for fans to come, which is much needed.
