Nope - we're going to get beaten by Costa Rica as well now . Joel Campbell is great fun to watch. I hope one of his long rangers goes in at some point (not against England, mind) as RVP needs a fellow goal of the tournament contender. On a side note, has this been a belting start to the World Cup or what? Normally the first round of group games are cagey, defensive affairs with teams looking not to lose to give themselves every chance going into the next group game. Zero draws and only two of the 12 sides to play so far haven't found the net which is great to see.

3-1. What a win this should be for Costa Rica. Nothing is guaranteed in the Group of Death

Bloody fair play to the Costa Rica players. Epitomised what the World Cup is about.

RVP needs a fellow goal of the tournament contender. I thought Robbens second was better tbh. What are the odds on adding two more teams to that tonight?

Quality sending off. Proper world cup team, Uruguay. I wouldn't write them off yet.

Good game, let's hope England score more than 1 as GD will come into force at the end of this group stage
