Well, last night was fun and all - but the real World Cup starts now!
Spain-Netherlands? Nah, it's all about games like Mexico-Cameroon. Are the Mexicans as bad as they looked in qualifying? Can the Indomitable Lions play like it's 1990? Who the hell are most of these players?
Chile-Australia later should be good too.......

Chile should see off Oz quite comfortably I think, but you never know...

Yeah, 15 minutes in and I'm trying to guess at where I'd put the over/under on Aussie goals conceded this WC.
Probably about 14?

Aussies right back in it with Cahill's goal.
They really need to be using their height and make the most of set pieces to give Chile a game. The South Americans are great fun to watch, but culpable of being undone by the more agricultural elements of other sides. If the Aussies can use their height advantage in the second half, it could get very interesting.

Main take from that last match was how poor Chile's defence was against poor opponents (tho as unification says Aus's height made them Chile's worst nightmare). They need to get Valdivia going, and the guy from death row plus buck there ideas up. Good keeper, tho.

Australia are a very weak side - they have a scummer in their squad for a start! Given how much talk there's been about Chile possibly upsetting a few of the big boys, I was quite disappointed in them. They laboured to that win when really they should have been cruising.
