Hey
So if you have paid for a ST in that area you would need to ask people to move every game?
I don't think thats fair.

Yes, I didn't quite understand how you can have an unreserved area in which some people may have already bought a season ticket for a specific seat? Presumably the club have contacted those people and explained what's happening and given them the option to move?

Just mentions about politely moving if asked by a ST holder. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Is Yellow Noise any different from White Noise?

Is Yellow Noise any different from White Noise? Seeing as you asked that I'll ask about the noise of a tree falling in a forest, and does it make a noise if nobody is there?

It's like an away game, you have seat numbers but you tend to group together with the singers anyway. If someone comes over and wants to sit in their proper seat, you politely move along. However the majority in the section will all be there to stand with mates and try and boost the atmosphere.
I can't wait. Fantastic work by the Yellow Army to not only get the club to provide this in the first place, but also in a really good location. Everyone in the section will be there for the same reason, which is great.
Bring it on!

Noise is an unwanted or annoying sound. If there is nobody there to hear it, then there is nobody to decide if the sound of the tree falling is annoying and qualifying it to be called 'Noise'. Glad to help.

Will all the people in this section be asked to remain seated? Are the club encouraging standing in seating areas which goes against ground regulations?

Blimey, people do love a good moan in the off season.
There are season ticket holders in every part of the home areas, so what we're the club supposed to do? They've attempted a compromise to try & get something to work. It might not, but they are at least trying to work something that fans have been asking for for some time. Maybe they shouldn't bother. But then they'd get stick for that too.

The singing section is a very good idea (anything to help the atmosphere) as long as the ST holders with seats in that area (who may well have already paid for their seat) have been considered/notified - which I am sure the club must have done...

In which case, those who have bought a season ticket for the singing section will presumably be happy to move around and all is well. I look forward to hearing the loud and sustained singing from those behind me! I may even join in ( Edit - Replying to Oggie's post obviously!)

Then they did not hear it and cannot testify if it is noise or not I tell you what, if there was a blind man there but his hearing was perfect, he'd be able to testify the falling tree made a noise, though if he had been blind since birth he may not know what the noise was...

Anyway, moving swiftly on...

Depending on the size of the tree and what actually constitutes a 'tree' that makes it worthy of the name? A sapling tree is still a tree- but unlikely to make any audible sound if it should fall, and what would make it fall? Not age, obviously, nor the wind as the environment it has grown in would buffer it from the elements. Unless it felt a little faint?

Surely nobody will buy a season ticket for this area unless they want to be in the vocal area. It's a good move by the club (at last)after listening to what the fans want. I hope that there are more ideas like this to follow.

They can move around within the block if they want to... or they can sit in their allocated ST seat, and get the hijacker to move out of it, if they prefer that option. That's how I read it.

I think it's the last four rows on the left side of the middle in the East Stand. This is normally fairly full with season ticket holders, and people come and stand at the back anyway, often squeezing in. I count 16 spaces not taken by ST holders? Occasionally there are a few day-trippers there. When it says "unreserved", does that mean that tickets won't be sold for that section and people just go there if they have a ticket for elsewhere in the East Stand?
