Rumours are that he's off. Let's face it he's hardly set the PL alight considering he is - according to many on here - 'world class'.
I would agree with many that Moyes paid too much for Fellaini, probably £10m too much but, my god, did he show real astuteness in side stepping the £42m Meshut Ozil when his agent came calling.
I argued continually on here that Ozil was never ever world class. He just isn't in that bracket. This could put Arsenal off ever spending big again. He's been the only real big signing they've ever mad ether than Arshavin - another flop.
Wenger is better in the bargain basement. He should never be trusted with that sort of cash ever again.

I shouldn't bite, but I will. Where exactly did you hear this 'rumour'? Or is this more Baldy b*llshit?
As for Ashavin - he cost £15mil, which in the current market isn't really a big signing. Although if you are classifying that as a big signing then Cazorla, Henry, Nasri, Oxlade, van Bronckhorst, Giroud, Hleb and Walcott are also 'big signings' as they all cost over £10mil.

Call yourself an Arsenal fan? Van Bronckhorst cost £8.5 mill.

Reyes, another fantastic buy. £15million - a bargain compared to the likes of Fellani, Berbatoss and Veron. Not to mention Torres and Shevchenko.

ADrian Durham reckons Ozil could be player of the season next season....but I guess that says more about Durham than it does Ozil..! Does anyone else have to listen to the Daily Arsenal he does at 6.30 each evening....I'm just drivign to work and can't be bothered turning over, but he does find the most tenuous ways to have a dig at Old Arsene......(sometimes wonder whether Adrian durham IS Baldy? ??)

You forgot this bit Okay, you got me there with the Liverpool transfer. However I was referring to the Chelsea £50million waste of money. Still while on the theme of Liverpool, how did I let Andy Carroll slip under the radar? That was an atrocious waste of money.

Probably not a good time to be picking holes in Liverpool, they paid less for Suarez and Sturridge than Arsenal paid for Ozil.

My brother in law defends Liverpool to the hilt, I just love to beat him with the big Andy Carrol stick. 55m for Carrol and downing is just mind blowing. King kenny must have been smoking something good. They will win it this year though and I'll never hear the end of it, how with far less money than city and Chelsea they have won it the proper way. The facts like they have played 13 games less this season than those to will be irrelevant , but at least it will make a change to the usual 5euro cup shit that gets dished up in every sentence he normally mentions them in

To me, Liverpool's biggest waste of money, or perhaps worst return for their outlay, was Aquilani. Like with Carroll, they panicked after selling a key player (Alonso in this instance), & paid way over the top for a player that showed barely any indication of being a professional footballer.

Probably not a good time to be picking holes in Liverpool, they paid less for Suarez and Sturridge than Arsenal paid for Ozil. I'm not picking holes in Liverpool. I was referring to Chelsea's purchase of Fernando Torres. I agree that Liverpool did do a good piece of business with Torres, not only with his initial transfer to Anfield, but also by managing to negotiate a £50million transfer fee with Chelsea, when it was clear that persistent injuries meant his best days were behind him. But then, they went and wasted that money on Andy Carroll.
