Speaking as someone who obviously wasn't there today and so shouldn't really comment, it's not convincing, is it? If you have promotion credentials you should be beating Wycombe and Rochdale at home. Oh well, long way to go (and it's eight successive league games undefeated). Exactly, just can't understand the midfield selection, hall is barely a capable centre midfielder, out wide he has looked lost Wilder frustrates the hell out of me, coming into back to back home games he had the opportunity to really attack 2 average league 2 sides, instead he tinkers around with players playing out of position and lo and behold we get two points from games that we should be looking to win. Sorry to say, but looks like some of the lessons from last season have not been learnt. Sitting 2nd in league is great, but we are missing out on very winnable fixtures.

Missed all but the last 5mins of 2nd half (laptop kept shutting down) - seems I didn't miss much though!
Poor result - we need to do a lot lot better at home

Watch Wilder go and play defensive against Burton and Cheltenham. We need to ATTACK them

Defence let us down today IMO. We're scoring plenty - albeit today we just got the one - but if we can't keep those clean sheets then it's not going to happen for us this season.

Did CW just say it is best to keep our unbeaten record than getting an extra point? take that over a season unbeaten at home on draws how many points do we lose. mmmmmm

Anyone who booed is a prick.
Really though we were bad, Wilder needs to play 2 proper wingers and tell them to attack, ffs

Hate being bottom of the table after 5 ga- wait... We're 2nd? So you're entirely happy with today then? If you are, good for you. But maybe we should have had four or possibly six points from the last two games. And apparently the second half performance was poor. And people are discussing it. Is that OK with you?

I'm not happy with the result no, but you can't win them all. I doubt Manchester City fans were chuffed about losing to Cardiff either but they're not in meltdown. We're SECOND, not last. There's a reason we're there.

No I'm not on twitter. This isn't twitter. This is Yellows Forum. If you're going to comment on twitter make that clear, because it read as if you were moaning about people having a civilised discussion on here. To your last point, do you think making valid comments on here will somehow hinder our progress on the field? Of course it won't.

disappointed totally f**ked off with what I have seen in the last two games, where was Kitson did'nt do anything of note today, all I can say is good old beano, alfie did ok until the last half an hour Tyron is not ready yet should have changed hall with kitson off with kitson and on with o'dowda. the amount of times in the second half ball played back to rose he goes on a bit of a run then lays it out ton the right hen all the space newey has is not being used do oxford know we have a left hand side. this was definitely a bottom half performance

Oh golly...what a shambolic second half!!IMO we had so little out wide {Potter was poor-again- and Hall is no winger].....but the real sad bit is that we don't have a player, in midfield who can run at defences. Rose was once again excellent, Whing battles but with no end product. So if your "wingers" are not up to the task then mediocrity blossoms. Kitson, to me, looks a very moody player and although he played ok he didn't set the world alight! Just think...if Rigg was not injured???

From all evidence I have seen he gets as frustrated as everyone when we sit back after going ahead.

No one is happy with the result today, it was the performance that's made the majority of fans irritated though. There was a point where we were letting everything through as we weren't even attempting to challenge for the ball. Personally I'd say we were lucky to get the point, they all add up remember.

It's easy to point the blame at Wilder but there is only so much he can do once the players go on the pitch. Particularly at home I feel that the crowd can be a negative influence and are quick to moan at every wayward pass or failed run. That is more of a reason way we tend to sit back and play 'safe' which only brings on more pressure!! Maybe some of our fans need to look a bit closer to home when they moan!!!

Thank god for tom newey otherwise we would have had no width on the left at all.beano ran his nuts off with little support and it transpires that Kitson has a virus - so why play him. We switched off for their goal at the back and it just didnt happen in the final third for us. Disappointed -yes, despondent- not on your nelly.

Wilder must learn to select players in their proper positions, even when that means selecting a younger player ahead of an experienced one.
O'Dowda should have been on from the start ahead of Asa Hall, who is neither a left winger nor good enough at this level.
Hall continually moves infield, as might be expected from a central midfielder, and that leaves us exposed on the left. The Dale right back wasn't anything special as Wilder intimated, he was just given far too much space. Any right back worth their salt would have exploited the weakness.
Furthermore, I would add that our two full backs that have been signed this year, are clearly turning out to be sub-standard, especially Hunt at right back. Bring back Damien Batt I say.
Mullins had a lesser performance on Saturday as did Whing. Not much we can do about Smalley being injured and Kitson regurgitating at both ends, but why not start with Ty?
First half I thought we played pretty well overall, with Danny Rose having an outstanding 45 minutes, as did Beano.
Second half it all went to pot, with Kitson not really able to continue, and the combination of Hall and the full backs struggling, and the Dale manager targeting our weak spots.
Hopefully a blip.
