Wycombe last season was a game of two halves, and two very different outcomes..... A cracking away win in Bucks to start our 11 or 12 game unbeaten run...... Then a home defeat to the boys from down the A40 to de-rail our final push to the play-offs..... . Its in our own hands tomorrow and easily within our grasp to add another 3 points on the board, A 2 - 0 professional win will be most welcome, however I think you are a little bit low with your crowd prediction, Wycombe usually bring at least 1500 with them even when the team is poor and that will be no different for this visit, remember, it is their cup final................ I expect a nigh on 8000+ crowd on Saturday . OXFORD UNITED - 2 (Alfie & Mullins) Wycombe Wand - 0 Att - 8358 (1587 visitors)

Yep can't see anything other than a home win here, and expect to see us win this 3 or 4-1. Goalscorers Smalley, Potter(2) and Mullins. We will be all alone on 12 points too.

For the 4th game out of 5 I will have to follow on Twitter. The only match that I could, and did follow the whole game on YP was at Charlton. And we all know what happened there.
So if we win (my forecast is 4-0, Kitson hattrick and Beano) then I must give serious thought to giving up my YP subscription.

At the risk of sounding like Nick Harris, this IS a very big game. Can the current bang in form team overcome the history of poor home performances against this lot? Thinking 3-1 to the mighty Yellows. Smalley, Beano and Mullins. Morgan will grab a late and probably dubious goal for them. 7,450 damp souls will attend and the atmosphere will be crackling!

2 missing today,my mates working, and ive got his S/Ts,will be sat in the lofty heights of the SS upper,(and Maurice Evans lounge.) Will have to curb my North stand language. 2-1 Oxford,Clarke saves 92nd minute penalty. 6,801(802 Wycombe)

Got a bad feeling about today unfortunately.
Our record against Wycombe at home seems to be average and I'm concerned that Rigg's injury will lead to Wilder tinkering and trying to fit square pegs in round holes.
Add that into what happened after the first three games last year and it leaves me a bit worried I'm afraid.
Hopefully I'm worrying about nothing!

Likewise, think it could all go wrong in the rain, but I'm still going for 2-0 to Oxford.
They usually bring 1,500-ish to us, but their support has bombed in the past year so I'll go for 900 visitors plus 5,900 Oxford = 6,800.

Easiest game by far so far for us this season. A game we really should win. Wycombe fan at work said, they was dreadful last Sat against a very average Mansfield side. Ainsworth keeps changing his team around every week. But I've noticed all their games have finished 1-0. Start of the week I would have predicted a comfortable win. Now I'm going to say either 1-1 or 1-0 either way. They should bring 900 or so. And we'll have 6,000 home fans I think. My brother and his mate maybe coming. So that's 2 more added who aren't OUFC fans.

If the crowd's about 500 up on last season, I'll guess 7,207. Ever the optimist, I'll go 5-1 to Oxford but like the Fence End I'm feeling nervous. Difficult choice, but with no Rigg I'd like to see Williams start to inject some pace into the team, but I suspect Wilder will choose Hall as his safe option?

As people are saying, this is a game we should win. That's what worries me. Last season this was the sort of game we tended to disappoint in.
Away from home we picked up some good wins while we struggled to beat teams at home that should have been routine. To me this is a real test to see if anything has changed.

3-1 Oxford with Mullins to score first - I'm do confident I've had a fiver on it at 100/1 with paddy power! Williams to start for me but like others have said I think hall will get the nod - especially after scoring at Torquay last week.

Looks like a very conservative team for what shouldn't (in theory) be a very tough game. Let's see how it works out...
