Home 97/98www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF19j7X6q_IDate: 15/11/97 Venue: Manor Ground Attendance: 5811 Result: Drew 1-1 The 97/98 season had started awfully and as it was quickly becoming apparent that all was not well within the club, as supporters became disenfranchised with those behind the scenes. Things were no better on the field and this dull draw came in the midst of a seven game winless streak. Despite dominating possession we were unable to turn this into goals and ultimately paid the price, conceding a poor equalizer to an average Bury side. Away 97/98www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i9RcyA-6JQDate: 21/03/98 Venue: Gigg Lane Attendance: 5159 Result: Lost 0-1 Having flirted with relegation earlier in the season, by the time this match came round in late March Malcolm Shotton’s arrival as manager had been enough to turn around the club’s on-field form and steer us clear of the danger zone, and coming off the back of three good wins (2-0 at Man City, 5-1 versus Stoke and 3-0 versus Reading) we went into the match in good form. However, our good form characteristically deserted us and we went down 1-0 in a poor match. Away 10/11www.dailymotion.com/video/xhzsnk_bury-v-oxford-united-10-11_sport
