So despite us being generally awful and having donkeys up front left right and centre, we're going to steam the league with goals galore are we?
:/

Both sides in indifferent form. Cert 0-0 draw.
Which probably means it will be a goalfest one way or another.
(But don't ask me which way because I haven't a clue!!!)

Hmm....this is a hard one (that's what Eve said to Adam)
Oxford United 3 (Beano 2, Parker) Morecambe 1
Att: 5,354 (165 away fans) - one with a bluddy drum.
Freeze yer knackers off weather.
0-0 with ten minutes to go.
Ref to ruin the game.
Me to be in pain again and leave with eleven minutes to go.
CW to boast that this is the most wins he's had as a league manager on Radio Oxford.

Well done, is better than well said.
Belief lost at the end of last season. Dreadful manager! no passion, no strikers, shite pitch, soulless stadium, season over, weather freezing just thought I'd get the Wilder excuses out the way, oh and if we do win that northern monkey will say well I have given you 17 wins this season...what a tosser. Result does it matter? idea for new sponsors The St John ambulance, red cross, John Radcliffe.....home win hopefully? to inconsistent.

Took a team from Grove Challengers to last seasons Morecambe game, players parents,family,145 extra bums on seats. Very few of them had ever been to an Oxford game before,we were in the play offs, looking good,i was thinking a good performance today and we might have some future Oxford fans here. After the game,i thought "well thats another 50 or 60 Man United fans" PLEEEEEEEEEESE,we cant be that bad again today.

I'm making a few logical predictions
If we win it will be by a single goal. Hard to see us playing Morecambe, or anyone else, off the pitch at home
If we go behind the atmosphere amongst the fans could get pretty nasty
Poor crowd - unless the bank holiday really boosts attendance
Craddock, if he plays, will bottle challenges, miss chances, flap his arms around in a strop at his teammates - then will be praised to the hilt after the game as our best footballer and striker and so on
Or maybe I'm being cynical?
I'd quite like to see JPP get some game time. If we can get him on a low wage and if its true his hamstring issues have been resolved somewhat by the 'sports science' I wouldn't be averse to keeping him next year.
