Going to be a tough game. Vale unbeaten away since October so a point would be a good result.
OXFORD 2 (Rigg & Smalley) VALE 1 (Pope) 6703 with just over 1k Vale.
Come on you yellows!!!

1st weekend in March is good for us. Last year even though Beano was sent off goals from Asa Hall and Oli Johnson capped a memorable day.
I predict another 2-0 win today - Davis and Davies.

GUTTED that I have to miss my first home game of the season today
Makes it worse that I missed Vale last season as well & THAT goal
Still I will feel better if we can repeat the result
Good luck Yellows, stay focussed at the back and try to get a few more shots on goal instead of the extra pass all the time and you can WIN this one
Keep the faith

Really tough game but if we can refrain from getting on the palyers backs I think they will settle down and get a draw (1-1), which would be a good result in the circumstances.
A mate of mine is up from Torquay so he is coming along. He has witnessed a massive Torquay slide so today he can enjoy some real footbal :-)

Every game is a must win if we are to avoid mid-table obscurity.
Today is going to be very difficult for us given our home form lately but hopefully we can scrape a win.
I'm looking forward to it, should be an above average crowd and a 'lively' atmosphere as it always is against Vale!

TVP will stand around looking threatening all afternoon, the Vale players will do some nasty challenges and moan at the Ref, the bloke near me will spontaneously combust and I hope we win.
More than anything, I want to hear the fans supporting the team today.

A win extremely unlikely.A draw just possible. A loss the most likely result.
But then I thought that against Gillingham!!!

Good afternoon folks. It's a lovely grey, cold day here in Holland so we are going to win. It won't be pretty but who cares? 2-0 with 2 lucky goals from Potter and Riggs. 6425 in attendance including 834 from Vale but excluding 750 TVP.
Oh and Rochdale have to win today so we can rise up the table.

WIN OR LOOSE, UP THE U's!!
I predict the Valiants will shade the pavement dancing hors d'oeuvres following a fantastic performance by the over-50 category but the U's will take the glory in today's main event on the field.
Sean 'Rigobert' Rigg to score against his old club as the yellows run out 2-1 victors in front of a partisan crowd numbering 6111 with 380 joining us from Burslem in temperature of no higher than 6C.
Yorkshire lads Chris Wilder and Micky Adams to continue their mutual love-in when speaking to the media, ticket 1203 to win the 50/50 and Dougie will continue to spout drivel post-match on Radio Ox.

Good Afternoon Everyone Can't see us scoring with Dean Smalley starting I know he needs games but unless he gonna get involved in winning the ball instead of waiting for it to fall to his feet like he normally does he ain't gonna have an impact on the game

Surely Whing, Duberry, Craddock and Constable would've improved a winning team?
Disappointed with the team selection.

Surely Whing, Duberry, Craddock and Constable would've improved a winning team? Disappointed with the team selection. Why would they? last time Craddock and Beano played they didn't do the job. Last time todays starting 11 played they did the job. Wilder has got it right, when selecting a team you need to forget egos and fan favourites. I rate Smalley over Beano anyway.
