Haven't started one this season so thought I'd give it a go.
I'm nervous about the game today, the players have no confidence and there's a lot of negativity around OUFC at the moment.
It's very important we get a win or we could be dragged into a relegation scrap which is unthinkable really.
A point wouldn't be a bad thing just to stop the rot. Plymouth are fighting for their lives so it really won't be easy.

Same scenario as the Bristol game. Plymouth on a good run, Oxford on a bad run. Not good omens.

Not full of optimism sadly. I think Plymouth will win 2-0.

What better time to be playing a long way away from the depressive and negative atmosphere around the city at the moment. What happens today depends on (i) how behind Wilder the players really are and (ii) if they are not, whether they can motivate themselves to perform inspite of his input....their futures are on the line too, so a few focused performances would put them in a good light for next season whoever the manager is, and I'm sure a fair few of them would prefer to stay here under a new boss than have to uproot themselves to another part of the country.....
I reckon those that have gone will see a calmer performance all round today, with a couple of players upping their game, meaning we might just claw a point

Strange times at oufc , no confidence no inspiration!! The manager seemingly with one foot in the door and one foot out ,some of the players also !.. imo for some the agony shows and its a struggle for them to even enjoy playing at Oxford , The atmosphere has for the last 2-3 seasons been worsening and has infected the support also !!. lose heavely today and THE AXE SHOULD FALL ...........If not? The next home game the fans should make there feelings known . any early goal for plymouth and 3 - 0 . seems likely !!.

I think I echo the other fans in not feeling too confident about this one. It should be - in theory - easier than the Fleetwood game and Plymouth are no great shakes themselves, but they're battling for survival now and will certainly see us as an outfit to get a result from.
My concern isn't over the defence nor the sparse attack, but the terrible centre midfield partnership. We're totally reliant on a loanee from Gillingham and one of Chapman or Heslop. It shows how much confidence CW has in the latter that Capaldi was thrown in there in a 4-3-3 in the last game, so I really am worried that we're going to have to keep going with such an appalling midfield partnership. Add to that the poor form of Potter of late, 'does nothing' Smalley and no commanding presence of Dubes at the back and we look like a weak outfit.
A draw would be an ok result in the circumstances. If we can get a half decent counterbalance to Montrose in on loan as soon as possible, I think we could full ourselves clear of those below us. I just don't want to see the complacency that took us down last time to hit home again.
Nevertheless, COYY!

Hi ho folks. Good afternoon one and all.
It's going to be an exciting day, if the colour of my water is anything to go on. And no, I haven't eaten beetroot. Everything is yellow as it should be.
Win 2-0 today and all will be fine (until the next game), lose and I'm going into a belated hibernation.

4 defenders, 1 keeper and an out of form striker on the bench - looks good for Plan B. Where is CAllum O'Dowda when you need him (youth team winger/forward before you ask)?

Great to see Craddock back. Here's hoping it's not too soon for him. I think Parker commands a start after Potter's recent form in front of goal and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
Let's just please get through this one with no new injuries!
