well how the cobbler fan can say they were the better side is beyond me. we could and shouldve been 3 up at half time. we created by far the better chances. its ok having possesion but its what you do with it that counts. clarkey picked the ball out of the net once and saved one from hacket who incidently was the best player on the pitch. the first goal may well of been offside but some you win some you lose every team has to endure bad decisions and weve had our fair share. overall we deserved those 3 points and worked bloody hard to get them.

Just a note, seen a lot of Northampton fans complaining about the seating, there were alot of seats down the front that were empty. Don't complain.

God we were. That bloke. I didn't see the empty seats down the front as I was at the back, self inflicted, then.

I've had the honour of speaking to Bayo on a few occasions, mostly in Nando's and I'm fairly certain he wont mind the familiarity. That's so funny ;D So that explains the lardiness. I'm surprised Nando's don't sponsor his kit

I think at times Northampton had the ball, but didn't do a whole lot with it. If you stop the runners getting the ball off of Akinfnewa in space. The big mans lack of pace showed as there was no one in the box attacking the ball. Platt opened the game up as it decongested the midfield which meant Hackett went wide. I'm surprised the 2 big CBs were so poor in the air. Rigg won too much, so did Beano. We almost gave the rest of the league the blue print to play Northampton.
Hackett looked up for the game and it was nice to hear no real boos. We sold him to Hearts as he was going to leave on a bosman. Did he fall out with Rix?

Where I sit in the south stand I was right in line with Pittman and I am going to be controversial and say that he was definitely on side when the ball was played. Carlisle even though I think he is useless was unlucky to be sent off as Potter just ran in to him.

In response to all this arguing over who is the better team; I think it was an even game between 2 mediocre league 2 sides.
Both clubs will be in this division next season.

Yeah and if the lads go on a ten game unbeaten run we might then be in in promotion contention and then we'd be really stuffed. 'If' is the key word there. Can you honestly say you genuinely believe we will go on to win the next few games? And if so what is that belief based on? I'm more inclined to expect a couple of losses, followed by more justifiable calls for Wilder to leave, and then a home win against Aldershot or a team like that, which will lead to people like you coming out again and claiming we've 'turned a corner' or something to that tune. Quite frankly, I do not see how anyone can expect anything different. I wasn't actually predicting a ten game unbeaten run I was merely wanting to take Hares comment and take it to the next stupid level (winning is not so good cos it means CW keeps his job FFS). I think it is truly pathetic when we win well and he posts that,
