After all my optimism the last few weeks I'm not sure if I should forecast a score. But I will say, with raised voice...
COME ON YOU YELLOWS

0-0 if we are lucky. If we are really, really, really lucky, and if they have a really bad off day we might even win it.
Not likely, but one can hope.

New, motivating manager. Team on great form. Akinfenwa's scoring boots well and truly dusted off. What could possibly go wrong? Oxford 3 Cobblers 0. COYY

As someone once said "football is a funny old game".
Last season Swindon arrived on a 10 game winning run, we had Beano sent off after 10 mins and we all remember what happened next.
I have a positive feeling about tomorrow.

Just watching the 15 min match preview, Boateng is still with the club. Thought he might have gone back to Arsenal.

Got a hunch this will be a heavy defeat for us, and the bells will toll for our norvun friend. Ox 1 N'hampton 4. At least one sending off. Part of the SS roof gets dislodged, again. And it jolly well tips down, the sky turns black as the 6,956 crowd pour out of the stadium of gloom...

I have a positive feeling about tomorrow. Wilder will probably somehow scramble a result to keep himself in a job but we all know - maybe apart from you - that this club is going absolutely nowhere under Wilder. Best result for Oxford tomorrow would be something like 5-0 to Northampton - something that even a disinterested chairman like Lenagan couldn't even ignore.

Surprising swing to optimism from the boys at work; most think we will get something from this game from a very low point earliest in the week.
Just goes to show,Oxford supporters never give up, no matter how bleak it looks......

Don't forget to shout "Wilder Out" if the performance is substandard.

Oxford United 0 Northampton 2
Att: 7,989 away fans: 888
For rose-tinted U's fans:
Oxford United 6 Northampton 0
Sorry, but I'm only putting down the score as I see it, after going to Barnet and watching us NOT play in the second half.

Don't forget to shout "Wilder Out" if the performance is substandard. Don't think anyone is likely to forget, instinct will kick in!!! Maybe a scrappy 0-0 on a stormy day will mean most Oxford fans won't know whether to be 'happy' with scraping a point at home, or enraged at two more points lost? Should be an interesting afternnon at k***ams' bleak house.

You really struggle to understand what I am saying in a very short post. I'll make it simple for you: My post is about today's game and in fact you agree that we probably get a positive result. That's all my post was about. Quite simple for you to understand. My post is NOT about where the club is going so why bring that up? And once again you are hoping/saying it's best, for Oxford to get beaten. Are you going today? It's just that you seem to change your mind so often about supporting Oxford: going/can't be bothered to go/I wanted to go but I had something to do/I'll be there next time/I doubt I'll go. It's difficult to keep up with your change of mind.

I'd take a draw right now. And that seriously disappoints me.
This could well be the biggest waste of a season since our turgid second season in the BSP.

I forecast its going to be wet, cold, miserable and very gloomy. I haven't started on the match yet, that's just the weather! The match will follow the weather. I cannot see any justification for an Oxford win and Northampton will stroll to a comfortable 3-0 win. Oh, and I won't bother to have Radox on in the car on the way home!

Don't usually do a forecast however, today Oxford will win a totally enjoyable and exciting game; everybody goes home happy and we turn the season around gaining promotion through the play off's.
Please let this happen as I along with a lot of people am really finding it hard to get of my backside and watch this horrible demise.
