We've been done by 2 decisions from the Ref that you won't see again this season. Every game I've seen you let the player come on and take up the position.
I feel like we've well and truly mugged off by some tosser in black not being strong enough to blow up or say take the free kick when the whistle blows.

Why is Wilder to blame for players missing chances?

Start a new thread, or add something to the USS thread, saying exactly that. Great post. Let's unite over this. It's them against us. We are Oxford United, we fight back as one!

Easy to blame the ref and yes he has had an utter shocker. This season is an utter washout for me now however.
Bog average.

OK, I want CW out, but no way will I be using this defeat as ammunition. We were definitely unlucky. A good effort by OUFC - just one of those days ....

Please look at the league table.
We are not unlucky, we are very poor at winning games of football.

Why is Wilder to blame for players missing chances? Because as I said, it's been a continual problem throughout his tenure. We're not talking about a one off game here.

John Lennon and YellowHoods are right we need to do our bit and really get behind the team!

Well one of the problems is Beano, who for a long period was distinctly average. But the fans wanted him to be in the team.
What do we want exactly?

I think only people who have been to the game should be allowed to ring!

Be interested to hear from fans at the game regarding the goals conceaded. Sounds like defensive errors and concentration.

And while Wilder is the manager those finances are going to get considerably worse. Look at the crowds.
Dead man walking.

Can't deny that, but many have been calling for an attacking coach for some time. At least that would have shown some intention on Wilder's part.

I asked why are we still playing after 39 min? He is under a lot of pressure if he can not remember there are 45 min each half.
I am not for or against him, but the man is under pressure

Chris Wilder -your time is up son, just get out. All teams have injuries and players unavailable. All of the subs and reserve players are players that you have brought into the football club - they are all YOUR players! Pitmann, Heslop, Capaldi to name three of the top of my head! His voice gets on my tits!

Well hopefully more than the defensive coach! Very clever. But what does an Attacking Coach do? I don't think it's a hard question to ask is it? I can't say for sure. But striking is an art as defending is. Why have a defensive coach and not a striking coach, finances apart. For me it's a show of intent to rectify an identified problem.
