Baldy only dealing in facts?! But only the facts that support his pathetic agendas!!
You say "look at the table" to support your argument, but of course that wouldn't change significantly after one game! Why not focus on the clean sheet, the 5 goals, some much needed form from TC, a vastly improved performance from Beano, the positivity shown throughout the game, not going into our shell when 2 up etc etc?
So how about you stay away a bit more often and give the fans around you a prolonged break from the crap you spout!! FACT!!!!

Anybody who wanted Wilder out this morning should still want him out this evening if they know what they are talking about.

Or maybe people who know what they are talking about would see something from todays performance and wait until Tuesday night before making further judgement.
How can you not take positives from today? You really are a sad and bitter individual if you can't have taken a touch of enjoyment from this result!

Fantastic result. A great confidence booster which the squad REALLY needed more than anything. Let's hope it can launch a good string of results.
BTW does anyone know who got man-of-the-match award today?

It was such a change to see a team performance and a few goals! I left the game with a smile on my face for once. Mind you, they had the Samaritans outside the gates, before the game. I quite expected a help line number on the scoreboard at the end if we'd lost.

it'd been nice of Wilder to let mad dog do the interview on rad ox after the game rather than let him take the flack after a defeat....great result though

Unbelievable contrast to the Vale game, onwards and upwards.

You talk of the other utd only in superlatives, no matter how unjustified they are, but when it comes to OUFC you can't find a good word to say about them, the players or the manager. Pathetic if you ask me.

16 shots on goal, 15 shots on target and 3 points off the play-offs? Change the manager? You must be mad!

You've gotta love Baldy.
On the other thread he changes his tack about 4 times in 6 posts, and still thinks people should take him seriously.
He doesn't go to the game today, but comes on here seemingly unable to give credit to the manager or players for a very very good performance.
I'm guessing Man Utd won today so the Oxford result is not that important to him anyway.
The rest of us one club fans will be enjoying a superb performance for the rest of the weekend, and hope it continues on Tuesday.

I agree with baldy,u lot will be jumping back to the other side of the fence when we lose on tues nite, acct were shite ,just like the wombles There's nothing like supporting the team, and this is nothing like supporting the team. How is being negative after a 5-0 convincing thumping helping the team? By all means you can still think Wilder's not right for the job, but saying "when we lose on Tues" is just pathetic. I'm unsure of Wilder myself, but I will support United & want them to win every single match, whatever the circumstance.

I wonder if we have ever had such a big turnaround in results between two games before? From 0-3 to 5-0 = +8. Has that ever been beaten? Answers on a postcard to Rage Online.

To answer my own question, on the 19th September 1998 we lost 7-0 to Sunderland away, followed by a 4-1 home win over QPR on September 26th. A turnaround of +10 goals. This was in Division One (Championship) and there were 34,000 at Sunderland.
