Quite clearly those of an Afro-Caribbean background have a propensity for being good at sprinting. Just look at the Americans and Jamaicans.
Should we not be developing our inner city A-C kids to take advantage of this? No reason why we can't set up a sausage factory, and such kids are more likely to be attracted to running than sports that require expensive equipment or less readily available facilities, like rowing, cycling or equestrianism.
The hopeless LTA are always talking about making tennis available to inner city kids (then doing nothing about it). Athletics would seem a better bet.

We have Chambers, Gemili and Dasaolu in each of the 3 Semi-finals tonight at 19.45. Then the final at 21.30

Anyone put money on Bolt breaking world record?

Anyone put money on Bolt breaking world record? No money on it but its a given if he doesn't false start. Betfred doing a freebie bet on Twitter and I've gone for an adventerous 9.29 Bolt + that track could equal something utterly breathtaking

Surely if we wanted to win some medals in the hammer, team gb should just go to the next EDL march. Plenty of stocky bald headed men, who love chucking stuff around.

Bolt showed his class there, didn't start well but eased past the field
