Just watching Sky Sports News, one minute they're showing Scumdon celebrating and holding the title trophy aloft, next they're showing Reading's open top bus parade... Even little Cheltenham have secured a play off berth. Reading: Champions Swindon: Champions Cheltenham: Play offs. All our nearby rivals are celebrating right now.... This has not been a good season no matter how you dress it up....

At least wycombe are relegated. See Moobs, every cloud has a silver lining and all that. Just wait for two seasons when Swindon go bust, all of the events of the past six games will be a distant memory!

What would be better: enjoying scum getting relegated last season, enjoying victory over them home and away but seeing them getting promoted or Swindon avoiding relegation last season and playing L1 football next season?

Little tinpot Cheltenham aren't exactly rivals..
If you're going to sink as low as to call them rivals, then let's laugh at Wycombe, Northampton and of course Luton

Couldn't care less about Swindon. They have been the best team in this league so have deservedly won it.

Oxford progressing higher than the 4th tier and not all the clubs around us wallowing in success

We beat Swindon twice, but what got them up was a manager able to motivate his players.

Ive had a front row seat to readings season! Work in Reading and surrounded by floating supporters plus the fact I meet pretty much all the first team players! I'm proud to tell them I'm an Oxford United supporter! All we could do with is some success to gain ground on teams such as Reading!

James Constable....James Constable...... Stayed with Oxford.....and won fcuk all!!! ;-)
Got to laugh....blame a "Bottomless transfer pot"...we haven't even spent that much.
And I laugh at your dislike of Paolo...if you were able to get him before he came to us you would have loved it (Cue the Nazi taunts from those who have no idea of his actual beliefs).
Yes....now you can jump on your two bright points of a season.....you beat us twice!!! Yes I was gutted....But over the season...WE ARE THE BEST IN THIS DIVISON......whilst you watch the play offs slip away!!! You are just not good enough...simples!!!!
And finally...on the money front..I love the straw clutching that Swindon will soon go bust!!! Sorry but is not going to happen...our board is pretty well off as it happens and they have a plan...They (like all business man) want a profit..that means they want us to be a success.
If I was you I would be more worried by your money situation!!!! Lots of rumours floating around the problems you have behind the scenes!!!
Ah well....Wilder has shown he is a bl@@dy good Manager though, for most of the season he has kept you punching above your weight, so at least you have a bright spot...I reckon he may even be able to keep you in the league again next season....if not though you'll be ok because earlier in the season a load of you were offering maps to Swindon fans for the the Grounds in the blue square league....We won't be needing them thanks....but it's nice to see all you fans that "believe" have kept them......just in case!!! :-) :-) :-)
See you again....um...well.....um hopefully never!!!!!

You ain't seen nothing yet... If ReadingFC can survive that first season back in the premier league, and with the new owners prepared to invest wisely, they could well go on and become an established top flight club for years. It's all in place, & hopefully they will back the manager whatever happens!
As for Swindon Town, if DiCanio stays I believe they will go up again next season. Criticise him for his antics but the thing he and McDermott have in common is simple - they are both winners!
McDermott asked Coppell for advice during the run-in, and he told him wng 'win next game'!
Both Reading & Swindon fans deserve the success, the clubs have a long history in the football league, a large fan base & loyal, patient supporters who do not put the managers under pressure on their respective forums - easy to say I know when you've just been crowned champions.
Looking on from a distance, well approx 25 miles anyway, OUFC supporters & management need to stay together. If I've learnt anything from supporting a club, that is it.

See you again....um...well.....um hopefully never!!!!! Aaaw, bless. The little scummer has learnt that meeting us in recent years ends in defeat. No wonder he doesn't want to see us again. Maybe we'll play with 9 men next time to make it a bit fairer for you? So you haven't spent that much then either? Remind me of Lukas Magera, Lee Holmes and Luke Rooney's wages then? Purchasing power is one thing, paying shitloads in wages is another.

Come on. Swindon fans supported di Canio because the team were winning.
They were on Danny Wilson and Paul Hart's back last year.
Which is no different to any other club - Wilder got the plaudits 2 years ago, getting the flak now.
Just as it should be.
Personally, I think di Canio will stay at Swindon next season. West Ham will have no money to spend if they dont go up plus they would have to offload their high earners as well. Hardly attractive to an up snd coming manager

We beat Swindon twice, but what got them up was a manager able to motivate his players. What got them up was the ability to buy players we couldn't afford. Ritchie was playing for Pompey recently, he didn't come cheap.

As a Scumdon Fan I would have thought you would want us to go up so you play us next season and try to get revenge.
Just shows how retarded you and your rant is.

Just shows how retarded you and your rant is. No....I simply feel that Swindon (Your current Champions) are too good to be playing at your level sunshine.... Ahhhh....Swindon Town 2nd Division Champions, Reading the Championship winners and rightfully going up to the Premier League, Cheltenham in the Play Offs and you lot actually staying in the League!!!! Success all around I think!!! Well done!!! ;D As for the only thing you lot keep falling back on...it goes to show how Tin Pot your club is..."Yay..we beat Swindon twice in a season....yay...we have slipped out of the play offs but we beat Swindon....yay our biggest rivals have won our League but we beat Swindon....Yay even Cheltenham have finished above us but we beat Swindon".... So..Oxford United defination of succes is.....We beat Swindon Town!!!! I along with many Swindon fans take this as a compliment!!! And most football fans would agree that every season in every competition you get surprise results for example...Chelsea turning over Barcelona was a surprise for most.....as was your victories over us...BUT the league table does not lie!!! Over the season we were far superior to you...as were Cheltenham by the way!!! And as for "Ranting" I'm certainly not!!!! I'm laughing my head off!!! We are promoted to the first Division as Champions...and are already planning back to back promotions...success!!! And as for Oxford...you beat Swindon....SUCCESS!!!

You had to break the bank to get out of this league, you have got no chance of back to back promotions when the division above has plenty of teams who spend that sort of money. Still keep spending, its going to enjoyable when it all blows up in your faces - AFC Swindon by 2016 I reckon, enjoy the Hellenic league.
