I havenât enjoyed a winning goal for such a long time ! Me too. But we were close to dogshit against a poor side. Wes Thomas must dream about being left alone to be picked off by savages and the lack of pace and desire from Henry and Mowatt is scary. Lucky. Hope we can stay up. God what a Brexiter. Henry and Mowatt are very decent players, it's not their fault we don't have any fast players to complement them

That is highly amusing, beautifully one eyed view of the Ref's performance. Waah waah waah sums it up and he really needs to learn the laws around injury time rather than listen to his Dad.

Surely he canât get away with openly criticising the ref that much. Has to be bring some sort of fine or telling off ? Most time managers say something along the lines of âI disagree with some of the decisions today but I canât say anything because it will get me in trouble â
For two minutes or so there he just slates all the decisions the ref made! What a tw4t!

Have to agree with ZeroTheHero. We were awful today. Iâll start with positives: Williamson had a decent game, good to see him back, won loads in the air. Ruffles scored a fantastic goal, regardless of the questionable keeping. We got 3 points. Negatives: If we played a remotely half decent side, we wouldâve been stuffed today. Marquis was handy but had no service, no wonder they are down the bottom. Organised and physical but lack quality. Tactically, we are awful. We have an old back four which are way too deep. We then stick two central midfielders in front of them, who clearly donât get told to mark men, they just mark space. We have wingers who arnt quick and donât penetrate enough (Mowatt out of position so sole leeway given). Because we are so deep, Thomas is isolated and we spend large parts of the game defending against teams that we should be attacking. We also arnt solid enough to soak up pressure and arnt quick enough to counter. Pep wants us to pass and pass and pass. Yet, has bought plenty of players incapable of doing this. Letâs knock it about at the back for ages until someone who canât play out has to rush it back to Eastwood who then has to boot it long. We never go 2 up top. This is the biggest joke of them all. People praising Xemi. Doesnât really tackle. Canât dribble. Passing isnât even that good. The worst central midfielder in 4 years at least. Tiendalli. Yes, he is improving but he is caught out of position regularly and still doesnât offer much on the ball. I much preferred Phil Edwards. We are not enjoyable to watch. Not sure how we are 8th. Donât get me wrong, very happy with the 3 points but that result has masked just how woeful we were today, often playing with no zip or bite and very little attacking intent. FFS. If anybody read this having not seen the game and read the stats.... Xemi is the worst CM for 4 years (and how dare people praise him this poster knows far more than you ...) . We are tactically 'awful'. We are frankly rubbish and yet won and are 8th. TBH the way I look at it the table doesn't lie. Sure it is close but whether we are 8th/ 12th we have clearly not had rubbish players and been tactically rubbish for the season. Or we wouldn't be 8th. Pretty simple really ?

I think Henry and Mowatt are ok but are as you say too slow to play together without some pace and variety in the side

I havenât enjoyed a winning goal for such a long time just for the opportunity to give it back with plenty to that opposition goalie. Absolutely superb - very disappointed he didnât stick around or come for his towel at the end - I had plenty more to say! What did the keeper do to dish it out? On the highlights I saw that he had a word with Payne after the penalty but was it more than that?

Fergie Jr is a bitter man isn't he? Basically blamed everyone but himself. Surprised the weather wasn't complained about as it was the only thing left. Selective vision must be in the family genes. Cripes
What he failed to entirely understand is his player over egging an injury meant the ref added time on in added time. Let alone when their player took an age to take a corner but had the time to clap their fans.
Not sure what the old chap was doing running on the pitch after the goal. Was like watching arthritic horse trying to run the national.

It was after he made the save and he turned to the East Stand and gave us fans some shit and was holding up the badge. Wasnât so funny on 96 minutes, was it sunshine?

Not happy one little bit. Severely memory-challenged, too, poor bloke. Doesn't seem to remember his player writhing around in agony with two broken legs (OK, he recovered) for a couple of minutes or more.

The team we had last year finished top 8 and was far supreme to the current crop. As for the entire post, not sure why youâve only picked out the stuff on Xemi. I stand by it, he isnât good enough. What exactly does he offer?

A comfortable 4-0 victory to the mighty yellows. Thomas 2, Payne, Xemi. Post match Darren Ferguson complains about the referee.
Pep explains that the return from injury in the new year of Mehmeti, van Kessel, Raglan, Pekalski & Long will feel like new signings. Ha!

Itâs funny how you quickly forget certain names! Spent a good twenty minutes trying to remember Rhys Dayâs name yesterday, despite the fact that he was involved with perhaps the most significant goal in our recent history.
