Needs to be ball over the line, not feet. Anyone got a link to the clip? Snigger! Shame he never did anything of note for us...

I really hope we go all the way now just to p*ss concretebob off ! Why, because he dislikes the competition? If so, that seems a really petty and pathetic reason.

We went all the way last season, CB and all the other abstainers had the last laugh then, not watching that absolute shite performance was the sensible choice.

Bloody hell, we're going to lose in the final of the pointless trophy again aren't we. Sigh.
Only two U21 teams left now....Leicester (through to the last 16) and Chelsea (who play tomorrow). Still can't see what has been gained by including them - for anyone - but oh well.

6 Leicester players from 2night played for them in the champions league last season. One cost them £25m It’s certainly not designed to bring their under 23’s through. Mapp really wants to win this thing

Talk about this competition meant to help develop youth players. Makes it even more of a farce competition.

Meanwhile concrete bob is sat on his staircase with his head in a noose. Not really, just would rather we would concentrate on games that actually mean something! The league is a billion times more important. Please don't resort to personal abuse. I don't do it to anyone, don't do it to me. Thanks. As for the noose comment - as someone who has experienced suicide by that method in the family, your comment is neither clever or funny. True enough but we are a billion times more likely to get to the final of this than into the playoffs on what we have produced so far..it would be a nice day out for the supporters and an opportunity for some of the players to play somewhere they may never play in their lifetime....
Although I say it myself I was quite a good amateur Golfer ( 4 Handicap ) and I would have given my right arm to play in a competitive tournament at St Andrews, Muirfield or Carnoustie.
Nice to see CC get some game time tonight.

Totally ignoring the whole under 21 team part of this argument, I ain't arsed about going to Wembley this year, be different for the play offs but that ain't happening, been to the final of this twice in a row so it's lost its novelty.
It's a decent day out on the p*ss but the game itself is a bit pointless, even allowing for our dire performance last year was anyone that bothered when we lost? Would anyone of wept tears of joy if we had won?
It is a novelty cup final in a competition most of us won't go to a game in until Wembley/ or at least the home semi final the year before.

Always want the yellows to win from the 1st team, youth and even the woman’s team, this evenings game was a very poor spectical of a football match, neither side could string more than 3 passes together and the first time control and pass was very, very poor especially from us. Our defence was very deep and often put our last defender in trouble with poor under pressure passes and god knows what Obeika was doing, it would be very interesting to see his pass completion over the 90 minutes, Pep and Faz were obviously watching the same game yet seemed very motionless to motivate any of our players. A very lucky win against a poor home side.

Well said, sir. On top top which, as this season is, I think, going to be a damp squib at best, why not try to actually win something. As I said at the same point last year, our trophy contains the Milk Cup, the second and third tier championships, an Oxfordshire senior cup and, er, a couple of 5 a side trophies. This is probably the only competition we can win that we never have won. So what's the problem with trying to win it. I thought that that was the general point of professional sport.

Oh, and four handicap is rather good, youre right. I'm currently trying very hard to get back down to my best of 5 (achieved when 17, natch) and not finding it very easy. Four seems about as likely as a Jon Obika hat trick!

Gillingham are pretty ropey but good to get a win. Didn’t appear to be a brilliant spectacle. Long way to go but another day out at Wembley would be great.
Dipped in and out of the game but from what I saw the app coverage was splendid. Decent commentator as well.
Like Pep’s new haircut, he’s a style guru compared to Popeye😉.

Needs to be ball over the line, not feet. Anyone got a link to the clip? I wouldn't say thats particularly clear cut. Whole ball needs to be over the line, that doesn't necessarily look like it has. Criminal defending though - he has about 20 minutes to take the ball down, have a look up and shoot. I'd like to get to Wembley. Looks feasible now, quite a few L1 teams have been knocked out. As amusing as it is that Swindon have been knocked out by FG it's a shame in a way, given that ends our chances of making it 8 in a row this season (although maybe thats a good thing - the 7 in a row / swindon town you are going down song from last year is one of my all time favourites - we're going to run out of tunes by the time we get to 8!)

I can't imagine that'd do your handicap much good though.

Few things i picked up from these highlights i never thought i would see.
1)Aaron Martin marking a man on a corner instead of just standing on the edge of the 6 yard box. 2)Never thought i would see another Oxford Player Dab, thought that would've stopped when Dunkley and Hemmings left.

Is it correct that the next round (called round 3) but basically the last 16 is split into northern and southern sections ? If so does anyone know who’s left in ? Or when the draw is to be made ?

Not regionalised and the draw is Friday 12.30pm on Talksport - Bob Mills and Perry Groves drawing the balls
