They run training camps in Oxford for teenagers, so you some times see some chinless roid head hoorays wandering in the gear. I suppose we were in their catchment area when they played up the road at why come, must of just carried it on when they moved to Coventry.

Will always be London Wasps, they then became an egg chasing version of MK! They won’t! They were Wasps for over a hundred years before changing their name to “London” to accommodate the professional side. Fortunately they only kept it for 15 years during their tenure at Loftus Rd and Wycombe and are now back under their rightful name of Wasps RFC.

Fortunately they only kept it for 15 years during their tenure at Loftus Rd and Wycombe and are now back under their rightful name of Wasps RFC. I think you are missing Ox4EVA's point. They were a London club from their formation in 1866 until 2001.(thanks wiki) So regardless of your name,by moving the club from London to Coventry via Wycombe,you become Rugby's version of MK Dons.

I know what you mean but my point was the actual name. I know an awful lot of their supporters and the name “London Wasps” was never liked at all by the purists
