Bobby Moore Fund International
Tuesday 14 November 2017
Wembley Stadium
Kick Off 20:00.
Five times World cup winners (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002) visit Wembley on Tuesday, and even for a 'friendly' it's an exciting prospect. I hope England field as strong a team as injuries allow, and we give a good account of ourselves. There should be a few goals to enjoy(?) as well!!

If you mean an 'Exciting prospect' then yeah, if 'your' Country playing Brazil doesn't excite that's up to you.

Looking forward to the game. The Germany game was quite exciting (compared to recent qualifying matches) with promising performances by the likes of Loftus-Cheek.

Rather than a 'strong' team I hope Southgate gives some of the promising youngsters a runout.

So a first for me just now - a player came on for England who I had literally never heard of.
Dominic Solanke?
Admittedly I haven't watched much Premiership football this year, and I probably ought to follow the U21s a little more but still.....

As an aside, the three subs that Brazil brought on - Willian, Firmino and Fernandinho - probably have more Premier League starts between them than the entire England team!

Never started a premier league game so watching sky sports wouldn't of helped you identify Solanke, he is most famous for leaving Chelsea where he never played for Liverpool where he never plays.

He's never played on loan anywhere in England either, has he? Usually I get to know these players when they end up on loan in our division. Not quite as familiar with the Dutch league!

He won the Golden Ball as our U20s (minus Ledson) won the World Cup this summer, and was only one goal off the Golden Boot winner too. Did pretty well and scored a few goals for Liverpool in pre-season. Should have a decent career ahead of him.

He also wanted a chance of 1st team football so left Chelsea for Liverpool which bodes well for his desire.

He has however appeared for Liverpool 6 times this season so far, so watching Sky Sports would probably help a bit... (if those games were televised; I don't know)
